La valoración objetiva de la marcha interesa en los ámbitos de la Medicina Física y Rehabilitación y la Medicina Legal. Los instrumentos para su evaluación son las escalas clínicas y las técnicas instrumentales, pero presentan limitaciones. Low temperature hydrogen plasmas are strong sources of vacuum ultraviolet radiation. The properties of laboratory plasmas can be influenced by surface processes induced by photons with their energies exceeding the surface work function of the wall material. In this work, the plasma induced photoelectron emission has been studied with different ion sources. The emission depends on the mechanical design of the plasma device, plasma heating method and the discharge power (density). Traditional variable displacement piston machines achieve high efficiency when operating at high displacements, but struggle with poor efficiency at low displacements. The pistons are connected to high pressure and low pressure in conjunction with the output shaft position and the displacement is changed by changing the piston stroke, resulting in almost constant friction, leakage, and compressibility losses independent of displacement. Nowadays, Sicilian growers moved fron traditional summer planting with cold-stored strawberry plants to winter planting using fresh plants. Fresh plants let di anticipate and expand the harvesting period from December to May and produce strawberries with better qualitative parameters. Fresh bare root plants are produced mainly in Spain and Poland but in the last years mountain's nurseries near yhe cultivation fields were set up in Sicily. Colour alone matters : no predator generalization among morphs of an aposematic moth

Local warning colour polymorphism, frequently observed in aposematic organisms, is evolutionarily puzzling. This is because variation in aposematic signals is expected to be selected against due to predators' difficulties associating several signals with a given unprofitable prey. One possible explanation for the existence of such variation is predator generalization, which occurs when predators learn to avoid one form and consequently avoid other sufficiently similar forms, relaxing selection for monomorphic signals. Aposematic organisms warn predators of their unprofitability using a combination of defenses, including visual warning signals, startling sounds, noxious odors, or aversive tastes. Using multiple lines of defense can help prey avoid predators by stimulating multiple senses and/or by acting at different stages of predation. We tested the efficacy of three lines of defense (color, smell, taste) during the predation sequence of aposematic wood tiger moths (Arctia plantaginis) using blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) predators.
