The Terminal Carbonate Complex (TCC) is a late Messinian carbonate platform system that recorded western Mediterranean hydrological changes from the final stages of evaporite deposition till the advent of Lago-Mare fresh- to brackish water conditions at the very end of Messinian times. In this study, the Pietra di Billiemi, a famous dimension stone, is investigated because it records the tectonic evolution of the south Tethys continental margin and preserves a record of major environmental changes occurring near the Triassic/Jurassic boundary. The Pietra di Billiemi is a grey, coarse-grained and clast-supported limestone breccia cropping out in an area of the Palermo Mountains representing a segment of the Apennine–Maghrebian chain in western Sicily. Maģistra darba autors Ēriks Timrots ir izvēlējies darba tēmu „Sociālās platformas sporta spēļu organizēšanai izveide”, atsaucoties uz sabiedrībā pieaugušo interesi pēc aktīva dzīvesveida piekopšanas. Maģistra darba mērķis, izmantojot teorētiskās zināšanas datorikas zinātnē un empīriskā pētījuma rezultātus, ir noskaidrot, kādu tehnoloģiju un pieeju izmantošana palīdzēs izstrādāt tīmekļa vietni un mobilo lietotni sporta spēļu organizēšanai. Pētījuma gaitā autors analizē divas pieejas, kā veidot mobilās lietotnes, apskata PHP ietvarus tīmekļa vietnes izstrādei, kā arī izveido sociālās platformas prototipu.

Teorētiski pētnieciskajā daļā tiek apskatīta mācīšanās platformas definīcija, saistošie normatīvie akti, nepieciešamā datortehnika un projekta plāns ieviešot mācīšanās platformu izglītības iestādē. Background. Balance is among the most important prerequisites for safe and independent mobility. Whether musculoskeletal pain is related to standing balance impairment has received limited attention. The aim of this study was to examine the association of musculoskeletal pain with the control of balance in older people. Methods. A total of 605 participants aged 75 years and older (mean age 80.4, 71 % women) were interviewed about presence and severity of musculoskeletal pain.
