Smart city applications are increasingly relying on personally identifiable data. A disclosure of such a data to a platform provider and possible 3rd parties represents a risk to the privacy of the application users. To mitigate the privacy risk, two-layer privacy-preserving platform architecture is introduced, wherein the personally identifiable information is dealt with at the inner layer (executed in a trusted environment), whereas only generic and personally unidentifiable information is made available to the apps at the outer layer of the architecture — e.g., in a form of app-specific events. Our goal is to adapt the Gratitude Questionnaire–20 Items (G20) to the English language by using data collected through a crowdsourcing platform. Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a cornerstone of the next-generation digital sky and is now mandated in several countries. However, there have been many reports of serious security vulnerabilities in the ADS-B architecture. In this paper, we demonstrate and evaluate the impact of multiple cyberattacks on ADS-B via remote radio frequency links that affected various network, processing, and display subsystems used within the ADS-B ecosystem. Diplomdarbā aprakstītā pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt kādas ir atšķirības starp tradicionālajiem un tiešsaistes testiem, kāda ir skolēnu attieksme pret tiem, kuram testa veidam skolēni dot priekšroku un kāpēc. Pētījumam izmantotais datu ieguves instruments ir aptaujas anketa, kas tika izveidota un izsūtīta skolēniem, izmantojot elektronisko pastu. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka pašlaik tiešsaistes testi tiek izmantoti biežāk kā tradicionālie testi. Skolēniem vairāk patīk tiešsaistes testi to viegluma un ērtuma dēļ.
