Zachodzące zmiany w sposobie myślenia o edukacji ewoluują w kierunku tworzenia modelu obejmującego jak najwięcej aspektów edukacyjnych. Jednym z nich jest wzbogacenie sposobów kształcenia o rozwój myślenia lateralnego. W artykule zaprezentowano ćwiczenia rozwijające intelekt, opracowane na podstawie publikacji Edwarda de Bono pt. Umyśl kreatywny- opisane ćwiczenia pozwolą na wzbogacenie warsztatu pedagoga.
Two Ways of Understanding Persons: A Husserlian Distinction

This paper clarifies the distinction that Edmund Husserl makes between two different ways of understanding other persons, their actions and motivations: the experiential or empirical way, on the one hand, and the genuinely or authentically intuitive way, on the other hand. The paper argues that Husserl’s discussion of self-understanding clarifies his concept of the intuitive understanding of others and allows us to explicate what is involved in it: not just the grasping of the other’s actual motivations of action but also the grasping of her motivational possibilities. The paper ends by discussing the dynamic character of the personal subject.

Self-direction refers to an individual’s responsibility and active role in relation to their own activities. It has largely been considered from the perspective of the individual, with self-direction being seen as a characteristic of the person, a linear process, or a feature influenced by the factors surrounding the individual. It is understood as a positive activity that promotes creativity and learning. However, the possibilities for self-direction have been less explored. The paper focuses on the ?unexpected pathways? of successful students with an immigrant background: these biographical routes, that seems socially impossible, raise theoretical issues around the individual-society, actor-structure relationship. Disadvantaged students who succeed represent a sociological challenge in the attempt to understand atypical situations and to identify the institutional processes and the structural opportunities that facilitate them, reducing ethnic inequalities in education.
