The complex formation of a tetraammonium C1-resorcinarene (R+4HCl) was studied using electrospray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (ESI-FTICR) mass spectrometry. Although R+4HCl easily loses its counter ions in the ESI process, a neutral self-assembled structure with an intramolecular circular hydrogen-bonded 16-membered -N(+)-H ... X(-) ... H-N(+)- array with ammonium ion as the charge-giving species was observed in the gas phase. In addition to chloride, several other counter ions were also studied. Pirmajā daļā, balstoties uz literatūras avotiem, analizētas būvniecības nozares aktualitātes darba aizsardzības jomā, drošības problēmas darbos augstumā. Otrajā daļā aprakstītas pētījumā izmantotās metodes. Trešajā daļā ir apkopoti un analizēti pētījumos iegūti dati, nelaimes gadījumu darbos augstumā statistika. Ceturtajā daļā autore izstrādāja pasākumus analizēto problēmu risināšanai un apkopoja materiālā „Vadlīnijas pretkritienu aizsardzības sistēmu izvēlei un drošās darba vides veidošanai būvniecības darbos augstumā”. Measurement and interpretation of the $W$-pair cross-section in $e^+e^-$ interactions at 161 GeV

In 1996 LEP ran at a centre-of-mass energy of 161~GeV, just above the threshold of W-pair production. DELPHI accumulated data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $9.93 {\mathrm{~pb^{-1}}}$, and observed 29 events that are considered as candidates for W-pair production. From these, a cross-section for the doubly resonant $e^+e^-\to\mathrm{WW}$ process of $3.67~^{+0.97}_{-0.85} \pm 0.19{\mathrm{~pb}}$ has been measured. Within the Standard Model, this cross-section corresponds to a mass of the W-boson of ${\mathrm{80.40~\pm~0.44~(stat.)~\pm~0.09~(syst.) ~\pm 0.03~(LEP)~GeV}}/c^2$. 3D segmentation of abdominal aorta from CT-scan and MR images

International audience; We designed a generic method for segmenting the aneurismal sac of an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) both from multi-slice MR and CT-scan examinations. It is a semi-automatic method requiring little human intervention and based on graph cut theory to segment the lumen interface and the aortic wall of AAAs. Our segmentation method works independently on MRI and CT-scan volumes and has been tested on a 44 patient dataset and 10 synthetic images.
