Il saggio propone una riflessione sulla politiche di trasparenza del mercato strumentali all’ obiettivo della sostenibilità ambientale. Nella prospettiva del mercato unico sostenibile un ruolo fondamentale viene attribuito ai c.d green claims, laddove alto è il rischio che la sostenibilità divenga per le aziende una semplice strategia di marketing. OBJECTIVE To assess the practicability and efficacy of systematic screening for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) by ultrasonography (US), as more small RCCs are being detected incidentally by US. SUBJECTS AND METHODS A 2-year screening programme for RCC was established for the general population (aged ≥ 40 years) in two German cities, Mainz and Wuppertal. Dla Habermasa sfera publiczna jest centrum życia społeczno-politycznego. Jest ona niejako buforem między społeczeństwem a płaszczyzną władzy i polityki. Właściwy jej kształt zapewnia możliwość trafnej oceny problemów i przekazywania ich do centrów decyzyjnych władzy. Sfera publiczna jest sferą prywatnych ludzi gromadzących się w publiczność, jednak nie jako biernych widzów, ale aktywnie włączających się w definiowanie i rozwiązywanie wspólnie tematyzowanych problemów. Jej ideał Habermas upatruje w XVIII-wiecznej sferze mieszczańsko-obywatelskiej, po której jednak następuje jej rozpad. Media stają się elementem opiniotwórczym i manipulującym publicznością.
