Goodness-of-fit tests for parametric excess hazard rate models with covariates

In this paper we propose a general methodology for testing the null hypothesis that an excess hazard rate model, with or without covariates, belongs to a parametric family. Estimating the excess hazard rate function parametrically through the maximum likelihood method and non-parametrically (or semi-parametrically) we build a discrepancy process which is shown to be asymptotically Gaussian under the null hypothesis. Based on this result we are able to build some statistical tests in order to decide wether or not the null hypothesis is acceptable. L’a. affronta il discusso problema dei rapporti tra appello incidentale e mera riproposizione ex art. 346 c.p.c., soffermandosi sulle diverse soluzioni offerte in argomento dalla più recente giurisprudenza di legittimità. In particolare, l’analisi si concentra su Cass., Sez. Un., n. 1179/2017, che tratta prevalentemente del meccanismo di devoluzione in appello sia delle eccezioni respinte sia di quelle assorbite in prime cure, prospettando soluzioni – ad avviso dell’a. – non sempre condivisibili e coerenti.

Phenoloxidases/tyrosinases initiate melanin synthesis in almost all organisms, and are involved in different biological activities such as the colour change of human hair and the browning or blackening of fruit skin etc. In many invertebrates, defence reactions are linked to phenoloxidase activity and/or melanization. Contacts with foreign molecules are able to trigger the prophenoloxidase (proPO) system that requires serine protease cleavage for activating the zymogen to phenoloxidase (PO). Searching for signatures around 1920 MeV of a N-* state of three hadron nature

We provide a series of arguments which support the idea that the peak seen in the gamma p -> K+ Lambda reaction around 1920 MeV should correspond to the recently predicted state of J(P) = 1/2(+) as a bound state of K(K) over bar N with a mixture of alpha(0)(980)N and f(0)(980)N components. At the same time we propose polarization experiments in that reaction as a further test of the prediction, as well as a study of the total cross-section for gamma p -> K(+)K(-)p at energies close to threshold and of d sigma/dM(inv) for invariant masses close to the two-kaon threshold.

El presente trabajo es consecuencia de la investigación de la Universitat de València que analizó la presencia de las mujeres en los contenidos de todas las asignaturas de la ESO en tres editoriales distintas. Se revisaron 109 manuales y los resultados que se obtuvieron fueron desastrosos: solo un 7,6 % de los personajes citados eran mujeres (López-Navajas, 2014). En el presente trabajo se ejemplifica con dos relevantes dramaturgas, las propuestas didácticas que se están desarrollando en el marco del proyecto Las mujeres en la ESO. Abstract The violation of baryon number, B , is an essential ingredient for the preferential creation of matter over antimatter needed to account for the observed baryon asymmetry in the Universe. However, such a process has yet to be experimentally observed. The HIBEAM/NNBAR program is a proposed two-stage experiment at the European Spallation Source to search for baryon number violation.
