Parental ability attributions regarding children's academic performance: Person-oriented approach on longitudinal data

The aim of this study was to identify subgroups of mothers and fathers who differ according to the patterns of causal attribution to ability for their children's academic success and failure across early school years. Moreover, the extent to which the mother and father of the same child share the same attribution pattern, and how the attribution patterns are associated with the parents' level of education, children's sex and children's academic performance was investigated. This article analyzes the image that the media offer about women who currently practice politics as a profession, focusing the field of study on Portugal, Spain and Italy. The work´s starting point is the inequality of treatment by sex, patented in different studies, together with a contextualization about the women´s participation women from those countries in political life throughout history, which in turn is framed in a more generic view of women and politics in Europe. Darbā tiek aplūkota labticības principa izpausme dažādās fiziskās personas maksātnespējas procesa stadijās, lai konstatētu iespējamās nepilnības tiesiskajā regulējumā vai tā piemērošanā praksē. Tādējādi darbā padziļinātākai izpētei tika izvirzīta to jautājumu analīze, par kuriem pastāv dažāds viedoklis, vienlaikus aplūkojot plānoto grozījumu iespējamo ietekmi uz turpmāko maksātnespējas procesa norises gaitu. Enabling Energy Savings in Offshore Mechatronic Systems by using Self-Contained Cylinders

This paper proposes a novel actuation system for an offshore drilling application. It consists of three self-contained electro-hydraulic cylinders that can share and store regenerated energy. The energy saving potential of the proposed solution is analyzed through a multibody system simulation.
