In this study, gene expression profiling of postmortem brain samples from prefrontal cortex of schizophrenic patients without AH (SNA), patients with AH (SA) and control subjects were compared. Live birth after embryo transfer in an unresponsive thin endometrium.

A healthy term livebirth in a 35-year-old woman with ovarian failure, hypoplastic uterus and atrophic endometrium after cancer treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy was achieved by ovum donation. The detection of a receptive endometrium using a new diagnostic tool of endometrial receptivity encouraged the medical team to carry on with this poor prognosis case. To the best of our knowledge, here we report the thinnest endometrium to date in which a healthy, full term live birth has been described in assisted conception.

Centenarians, but not octogenarians, up-regulate the expression of microRNAs

Centenarians exhibit extreme longevity and a remarkable compression of morbidity. They have a unique capacity to maintain homeostatic mechanisms. Abstract Senescence is manifested by an increase in molecular damage and a deterioration of biological functions with age. In most organisms, body maintenance is traded-off with reproduction. Allelic variation causes alternative behavioral phenotypes, whereas changes in gene expression can influence the initiation of behavior at different ages.
