Kvalifikācijas darbā ir izstrādāta Android lietotne pacientu aprūpes pārvaldībai medicīnas iestādēs. Tā paredzēta 3 lietotāju grupām. Pirmā lietotāju grupa ir sistēmas administatori, kuriem būs iespēja pievienot un pārvaldīt visus sistēmas lietotājus. Ārstiem būs iespēja ērti un pārskatāmi sekot līdzi savu pacientu kustībām un veselības stāvoklim atveseļošanās laikā. Trešā lietotāju grupa ir pacienti. Lietotnes daļa, kas paredzēta pacienta ierīcei komunicē ar kustību sensoru, kas piestiprināts pie pacienta, iegūstot datus par tā kustībām. The ultimate goal of learning algorithms is to find the best solution from a search space without testing each and every solution available in the search space. During the evolution process new solutions (children) are produced from existing solutions (parents), where new solutions are expected to be better than existing solutions. This paper presents a new parent selection method for the crossover operation in genetic programming. The idea is to promote crossover between two behaviourally (phenotype) diverse parents such that the probability of children being better than their parents increases. Need for speed? Exploring the relative importance of patents and utility models among German firms

Despite the wide use of two-tiered patent systems (patents and utility models (UMs)), there is little empirical evidence about how often UMs are actually used, what kind of firms use them to protect their intellectual property, and how firms rank them relative to patents. We offer such an analysis using data from Germany. We find that larger firms are more likely to use both protection methods. Moreover, a short life cycle of products and services is associated with an increased likelihood to use UMs. The features and functioning of the German UM system are of broader interest because it has been a benchmark for several second tier patent protection systems around the world. peerReviewed

Uzņēmuma darbība tiek plānota Jūrmalā, Kauguros, kas ir visblīvāk apdzīvota daļa Jūrmalā.Uzņēmums piedāvās saviem klientiem sporta un veselības veicinošas nodarbības ūdenī: zīdaiņu peldināšanu speciālās vannās, peldētapmācības bērniem dažāda vecuma grupās un hidroterapiju ar ūdens trenažieriem.Uzņēmuma juridiskā forma ir Sabiedrība ar ierobežoto atbildību. Atbilstoši uzņēmuma turpmākas darbības vīzijai, lielāku daļu no visiem uzņēmuma ieņēmumiem veidos ieņēmumi no bērnu peldēšanas apmācības. La ciencia ficción y la enseñanza de las ciencias

Este trabajo constituye una primera aproximación a la ciencia en la ciencia ficción desde el punto de vista del alumnado y qué posibilidades ofrece como recurso didáctico. Sondeamos, por tanto, si los alumnos conocen y han visto cine de ciencia ficción, así como si este factor influye en sus actitudes hacia la ciencia y los científicos y su opinión sobre las consecuencias de los avances científicos en el futuro. Asimismo, nos planteamos si los estudiantes perciben las visiones deformadas de la ciencia y los científicos que transmite el cine de ciencia ficción. Pretendemos, asimismo, estudiar si se utiliza la ciencia ficción como recurso didáctico.

Sustained Adoption of Systematic Physical Activity for Young Elderly : A Developed UTAUT Approach

Health recommendations state that for young elderly systematic physical activi-ties at moderate intensity for at least 150 minutes per week are required to help them stay in good shape for their senior years. We have found that young elderly readily gets started with a physical activity (PA) program but there is some challenge to make them stay with this program. We have learned that a PA program should build on activities that users find meaningful and/or best suited for their history of PA and their present physical capacity.
