Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt virtuālos komunikācijas aģentus un izveidot savu virtuālo aģentu, lai risinātu reālu biznesa problēmu. Šī darba ietvaros ir izpētīta virtuālo aģentu būtība, kā arī to darba pamatprincips. Ir sastādīta virtuālo aģentu klasifikācija pēc dažādiem kritērijiem, ir izpētītas visizplatītākās platformas to veidošanai, kā arī ir izstrādāts savs virtuālais aģents priekš MS Teams ar Microsoft Bot Framework palīdzību. Darba pamattekstā ir 80 lappuses, 53 attēli, 5 tabulas un 30 informācijas avotu nosaukumi.

Project-based learning in the Chinese heritage language course/class in Finnish comprehensive education

With the trend of global mobility and immigration, the Finnish government has been promoting integration and multiculturality since 1990. According to the Finnish National Agency for Education (FNAE), Heritage Language (oma äidinkieli) lessons aim to protect and develop immigrant students’ competencies in their heritage languages and cultures. This article shares a pilot 4-week PBL (Project-based Learning) module for a group of advanced Chinese language learners. It discusses the opportunities and challenges during the PBL and suggests possible improvements. nonPeerReviewed

Chebyshev’s Method on Projective Fluids

We demonstrate the acceleration potential of the Chebyshev semi-iterative approach for fluid simulations in Projective Dynamics. The Chebyshev approach has been successfully tested for deformable bodies, where the dynamical system behaves relatively linearly, even though Projective Dynamics, in general, is fundamentally nonlinear. The results for more complex constraints, like fluids, with a particular nonlinear dynamical system, remained unknown so far. We follow a method describing particle-based fluids in Projective Dynamics while replacing the Conjugate Gradient solver with Chebyshev’s method. The ACRIDICON-CHUVA campaign: Studying tropical deep convective clouds and precipitation over Amazonia using the new German research aircraft HALO

Abstract Between 1 September and 4 October 2014, a combined airborne and ground-based measurement campaign was conducted to study tropical deep convective clouds over the Brazilian Amazon rain forest. The new German research aircraft, High Altitude and Long Range Research Aircraft (HALO), a modified Gulfstream G550, and extensive ground-based instrumentation were deployed in and near Manaus (State of Amazonas). Projektos balstīta mācīšanās dabaszinību stundās 5.klasē. Kristīne Freimane, darba vadītāja Dr. ģeogr., docente Gunta Kalvāne. Bakalaura darbs, 51 lpp., 16 literatūras avoti, 9 pielikumi, 16 attēli, 9 tabulas. Latviešu valodā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt projektos balstītas mācīšanās (PBL) izmantošanas iespējas skolēna motivācijas veicināšanā. Ir veikta literatūras analīze par projektos balstītu mācīšanos, tās salīdzinājumu ar projekta metodi, dabaszinātņu apguves rādītājiem Eiropā, mācīšanās motivāciju. Pētījumā ir izmantoti teorētiskie soļi PBL aktivitātes izveidošanai un aprobēšanai. Tika noskaidrots, ka, izmantojot PBL, skolēni ir motivēti strādāt, jo var parādīt savas stiprās puses.
