Melancolía de mujeres Solas.
2019
Towards a poïetic of are or the stakes of a new interpretation of the being : the possibilities and the limits of the renewal of the Metaphysics from…
2012
The “being” remains still and always today an extremely mysterious and polemic object for the philosophers as for the individual who we are. Face to the perpetual reappearance of this object in the form of a fundamental interrogation, the question is to know if we are confronted to an insoluble problem for the reason or if it is a methodological problem which it is advisable to raise. Beyond of a new attempt at destruction of Metaphysics in all its forms and its dimensions by the postmoderns, we must try to reflect today on the true positivity of the questioning of the “being”. From Kant to Bachelard, we are seeing a gradual opening during the history through the way of another practice whi…

Aptitudes et classes sociales : accès et succès dans l'enseignement supérieur
1981
Mingat Alain. — Aptitudes and Social Classes : Access to and Success in Higher Education. In this paper, two types of social selection in education are considered. In the first place, the proportions in higher education in various social groups are compared to the distribution of measured intelligence in these groups. The adequacy of measurements of intelligence is not discussed, but account is taken of the fact that IQ measures are used in educational institutions for the purposes of assessment. It is noted that if entry into higher education were dependent entirely on the achievement of high IQs, the proportions of workers' and farmers' children in higher education would be far greater th…

Implicit learning, development, and education
2010
International audience; The present chapter focuses on implicit learning processes, and aims at showing that these processes could be used to design new methods of education or reeducation. After a brief definition of what we intend by implicit learning, we will show that these processes operate efficiently in development, from infancy to aging. Then, we will discuss the question of their resistance to neurological or psychiatric diseases. Finally, in a last section, we will comment on their potential use within an applied perspective.
On “Action Language” in Psychoanalysis
1980
The main tenets of action language are summarized in an attempt to discern the direction in which psychoanalysis might go if action language becomes the "new metapsychology." The principal roots of action language are traced to the different linguistic/language and personality-and-culture models of anthropology and to the neobehaviorist currents of academic psychology. The authors' findings support the hypothesis that action language is a form os psychoanalytic behaviorism having idealism, logical positivism, and radical empiricism as its philosophical underpinnings. Its adoption would confound the entire motivational aspect of psychoanalysis. Specifically, the authors suggest that action l…
