New Analytical Tools for Evaluation of Spherical Aberration in Optical Microscopy

The required tightly focused spots in three-dimensional (3D) scanning optical techniques are usually achieved by high-NA immersion lenses. The refractive index mismatch between the sample and the immersion medium introduces an important amount of spherical aberration when imaging deep inside the specimen, spreading out the focusing response. Since this aberration depends on the focalization depth, it is not possible to simultaneously achieve a global compensation for the whole scanned sample. Purpose To compare the optical quality in vitro of 2 designs of the Visian Implantable Collamer Lens phakic intraocular lens (pIOL) for different powers and optical apertures. Methods The Nimo TR1504 deflectometry device was used to measure the V4c pIOL, which has a smaller optic diameter, and the V5 pIOL, which has a larger optic diameter. This doctoral work is interested in the identical positionings of the teachers and the pupils led by the relation that the social scene in Physical Education establishes between them. These positionings are approached by means of the theories bound to the social categorization and more precisely the theory of the social identity, the theory of the auto-categorization and the conception of the social partitions. Our eyes project information from a three-dimensional world to a basically two-dimensional surface, corresponding to the photoreceptor plane in the retina. In theory, only one plane or surface of world can be in focus at one time. However, the eye exhibits a certain tolerance to out-of-focus images, a feature that is known as depth-of-focus (DOF). The corresponding distance range in which the objects are seen “clearly” is known as depth-of-field (DOFi). Although DOF and DOFi refer to an interval of distances or a dioptric range in the image and object space, respectively, both parameters define a similar concept and are usually interchangeable. Tuvākā skaidra redzes punkta noteikšanu ietekmējošie faktori

Darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 25 lapaspusēm. Tajā ir 20 attēli, 2 tabulas un 20 literatūras avoti. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt dažādu faktoru – acs zīlītes un stimula izmēra- ietekmi uz tuvākā skaidras redzes punkta novērtēšanu. Tuvākais skaidras redzes punkts tika noteikts ar “push-up” metodi. Mērījumi tika veikti ar stimulu izmēriem 20/20; 20/25 un 20/30 (Snellena frakcija). Acs zīlītes diametrs tika novērtēts, izmantojot šablonu. Rezultāti parādīja, ka, samazinoties stimula izmēram “push-up” metodē, zīlītes diametrs pieaug un tuvākais skaidras redzes punkts attālinās.

The diversity of pupils and their different difficulties challenge teachers' skills and methods in teaching. Some behavioral challenges require rapid intervention and a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach from the teachers. An internationally recognized tool, TCM (Teacher Classroom Management), aims to support pupils' socio-emotional development, improve teacher-pupil interaction, and strengthen school-home cooperation.
