The role of personal and professional skills of teacher in professional activity

In the article the personal qualities of the teacher, characterizing the professional pedagogical orientation of the teacher, are considered. It explores how, in the activity of the teacher, ideological conviction determines his social and moral orientation, which is expressed in social needs, moral and value orientations, a sense of public duty and civil responsibility. It is noted that the development of cognitive, emotional-strong-willed, moral, communicative qualities will contribute to the successful performance of professional activities, the effective solution of professional tasks, personal improvement.

L’étude porte sur trois territoires de Gironde (France), situés le long d’un gradient d’urbanisation : la métropole de Bordeaux, le territoire périurbain du Créonnais et le territoire rural du Pays Foyen. Un diagnostic cartographique comparatif a été effectué à partir d’indicateurs socio-démographiques et économiques empruntés aux bases de données publiques (INSEE) pour caractériser les vulnérabilités territoriales et faire émerger des perturbateurs potentiels de la qualité de vie des personnes. This empirical study is part of research into teachers’ conceptions of teaching but in a new context and with a new audience. It is based on a qualitative survey conducted by semi-directive interviews with 17 lecturers (in the job for three years at most and across a range of subject areas) about the notions of ‘good’ and ‘poor’ lessons. The analysis reveals (1) difficulties in defining what makes for a ‘good’ lesson and even more so a ‘poor’ lesson; (2) the narrow range of terms used and the fact that the terms characterize a ‘good’ lesson as both a process and an outcome; (3) the absence of conceptions in terms of academic subject areas, and (4) great difficulty in categorizing the concep…

The employment quality in the sector of home care services raises a number of questions. In this sector, job positions are hard to fill and they meet unattractive working conditions. Overall, the sector is suffering from a rather negative image. This article, through a qualitative study, identifies the differentiation factors of employee satisfaction in terms of employment quality, and the work motivation factors, in an environment that is not always favorable.
