The research aims to investigate the effects of different rootstocks on productive and qualitative aspects of two watermelon cultivars: Dumara, that produces big fruits and Minirossa that produces smaller fruits. For each cultivar, a randomized complete-block design was used with 3 replications to compare the following six grafting combinations: grafted plants into five rootstocks (Elsi, RS 841, Shintosa, Lagenaria corta, Anguria selvatica) and ungrafted plants. The highest yield of both cultivars was obtained with RS 841 while the lowest was observed with not grafted plants and grafted on elsi. A chiral capillary monolithic column for enantiomer separation in capillary electrochromatography was prepared by coating cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) on porous glycidyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethacrylate monolith in capillary format grafted with chains of [2(methacryloyloxy)ethyl] trimethylammonium chloride. W celu nadania właściwości hydrofilowych, które powinny ułatwić rozkład odpadów w środowisku naturalnym, przeprowadzono szczepienie PE-LD kwasem itakonowym (KI) wobec nadtlenku dikumylu (DCP). Proces realizowano dwuetapowo w wytłaczarce jednoślimakowej, stosując różne stężenia KI (3—10% mas.) i DCP (do 1,1% mas.). Metodą pirolitycznej chromatografiigazowej (Py/GC/MS) zidentyfikowano produkty termicznego rozkładu KI. Analiza FT-IR wykluczyła ich obecność w kompozycjach po szczepieniu, natomiast sugerowała szczepienie KI. A new polymer brush was synthesized by spontaneous polymerization of benzofulvene macromonomer 6-MOEG-9-T-BF3k bearing a nona(ethylene glycol) side chain linked to the 3-phenylindene scaffold by means of a triazole heterocycle. The polymer structure was studied by SEC-MALS, NMR spectroscopy, and MALDI-TOF MS techniques, and the results supported the role of oligomeric initiatory species in the spontaneous polymerization of polybenzofulvene derivatives. Antecedents of daily team job crafting

This study investigated potential antecedents of team job crafting defined as the extent to which team members engage together in increasing (social and structural) job resources and challenges, and decreasing hindering job demands. Mindful of the teamwork literature, we hypothesized that individual employee factors (self-efficacy for teamwork, daily affect), team features (team cohesion, climate) and the organizational context of teams (engaging leadership and organizational resources for teamwork) relate positively to daily team job crafting behaviour. ‘Crossing the Borders between Legislative Drafting and Linguistics: Linguists to the Aid of Legislative Drafters’ is the focus of the co-authored article by Helen Xanthaki and Giulia Adriana Pennisi. In her discussion, Helen Xanthaki claims that linguists provide a useful contribution to ‘phronetic legislative drafting’, on account of common areas of interaction where lexico-grammatical and discourse analysis help to understand the meanings and functions of text production. This is then examined by Giulia Adriana Pennisi who draws on the institutional legal discourse enacted in the Treaty of Lisbon to argue for divergent – yet indeed uniform – constitutional principles and values.
