Una estela ibèrica trobada a Atzeneta del Maestrat (l'Alt Maestrat, Castelló)

We present the finding of an Iberian stele in the village of Atzeneta del Maestrat (Castellón). It is decorated with a cuirass disc on its front face, motif that is represented for the first time in the Iberian steles of the Valencian Country. Due to its characteristics, we connect this monument with the group of steles of Bajo Aragón, where we find the same motives in villages such as Vallderoures and Cretas (Teruel).

Bresaola made from Cinisara cattle: effect of muscle type and animal category on physicochemical and sensory traits

The physicochemical characteristics and sensory traits of Cinisara bresaola were investigated, to explore a new commercial opportunity for autochthonous dairy cattle farms. Semimembranosus, Semitendinosus and Biceps brachii muscles, from adult cows (AC) and grazing (GB) or housed (HB) young bulls of Cinisara breed, were processed to made bresaola. Differences due to animal category and muscle type were observed. Bresaola from AC was richer in fat and volatile organic compounds. The bresaola from Semitendinosus showed higher colorimetric parameters, fat and, when from grazing animals, Warner-Bratzler shear force than those made from other muscles. Se presenta un disco-coraza de hierro procedente del oppidum ibérico de la Bastida de les Alcusses documentado con motivo de la revisión completa de los hallazgos de las excavaciones realizadas entre 1928 y 1931. La pieza es una lámina seudocircular en cuyo perímetro se distribuyen unos pequeños remaches para suspender el disco a las correas de sujeción, realizadas probablemente en cuero. Después de presentar el disco y los resultados de las analíticas EDXRF que permiten identificar los metales utilizados en la producción del disco (hierro) y los remaches (plata y cobre), se analiza su contexto de hallazgo, se encuadra históricamente esta categoría de armamento defensivo. La presente obra analiza los principales pronunciamientos judiciales en relación al contenido de la carta individual de despido derivado de un despido colectivo. Se discute sobre la conveniencia de incluir la causa en la carta, así como los criterios de selección del trabajador afectado. La cuestión tiene una especial incidencia sobre un colectivo concreto: las trabajadoras embarazadas.
Sex and race stereotypes in images of textbooks in primary physical education

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las imágenes que aparecen en los libros de texto de Educación Física en el tercer ciclo de Educación Primaria y comprobar si los estereotipos con respecto al género y la raza han sido eliminados en sus contenidos. Se realiza un estudio descriptivo que utiliza el análisis de contenido como técnica central de la investigación. La muestra está formada por 997 imágenes, pertenecientes a cinco editoriales diferentes (Anaya, Inde, Paidotribo, Bruño y Serbal) que han publicado sus libros de texto a partir de la actual Ley de Educación 2/2006.
