A ten-year follow-up of the Reflection cementless acetabular component.

We reviewed the long-term results at ten to 12 years of 118 total hip replacements in 109 patients using a second-generation hemispherical cementless acetabular component (Reflection) designed to address the problem of backside wear. Five patients (five hips) died and six patients (seven hips) were lost to follow-up. The remaining 98 patients (106 hips) had a mean age of 62.9 years (34.0 to 86.2) A rate of revision for aseptic loosening of 0.9%, and predictable results were found with respect to radiological evidence of fixation, lack of pain, walking ability, range of movement and function. Almodóvar's Los abrazos rotos explores the possibilities of cinema to represent the holy contents of the myth. According to two modes of its expression (reflection and the unseen), we can see the implementation of a blunt myth. The myth is attenuated in its produced or spectacular content, with a focus on the symbol and on minesis. The myth reveals but it does not exhibit itself. It seems that the transcendent could be represented using the irony of those who proves the innuendo. The myth is given through the blindness which denies mimesis and shows its more peculiar contents in a blunted way.

Studying Gamow-Teller transitions and the assignment of isomeric and ground states at $N=50$

Direct mass measurements of neutron-deficient nuclides around the N=50 shell closure below $^{100}$Sn were performed at the FRS Ion Catcher (FRS-IC) at GSI, Germany. The nuclei were produced by projectile fragmentation of $^{124}$Xe, separated in the fragment separator FRS and delivered to the FRS-IC. The masses of 14 ground states and two isomers were measured with relative mass uncertainties down to 1×10−7 using the multiple-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer of the FRS-IC, including the first direct mass measurements of $^{98}$Cd and $^{97}$Rh. This article offers a dialogical exploration of student teachers’ reflections on notions of insideness and outsideness, the focal themes of an Erasmus+ ten-day intensive programme (IP). The arts-based, interdisciplinary IP involved 32 student participants and twelve members of staff from eight European universities hosted by the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Virtual Exchange (VE) is a form of experiential learning that relies heavily on learning-by-doing and reflection. The present study draws on visual data comprising students’ perceptions of critical learning incidents presented under an imaginary magnifying glass.
