This study examines how the media and journalists are used in lobbying processes. To explore the topic a systematic review of the literature in peer-reviewed journals published between January 2000 to June 2018 was undertaken. The findings of this paper indicate that lobbyists and interest groups engage with a plethora of various strategies and systematic methods when influencing or trying to advocate the work of journalists and media organisations. The findings shed the mystery of lobbyists and interest group’s communicative attempts. Bakalaura darbā tika izvirzīta hipotēze par negatīvu sakarību starp priekštatu par uztverto partnera melu biežumu un apmierinātību ar attiecībām. Tika veikts korelatīvs pētījums, kopumā pētījumā piedalījās 121 cilvēks, 90 sievietes, vecums M = 27,62, SD = 8,13 un 31 vīrietis M = 31,32, SD = 9,42. kā arī, lai varētu izmantot iegūtos datus, cilvēkiem bija jāatrodas partnerattiecībās. Energiapuuta käytetään yhä enemmän uusiutuvan energian lähteenä. Energiapuun korjuussa hakkuutähteitä eli kantoja, oksia ja latvuksia kerätään päätehakkuun ja harvennuksen yhteydessä hakkuualoilta. Tämä vähentää erityisesti pienikokoisen lahopuun ja kantojen määrää. Lahopuu on tärkeä resurssi boreaalisissa metsissä, mutta sen määrä talousmetsissä on alhainen luonnonmetsiin verrattuna. Understanding altered contractile properties in advanced age : insights from a systematic muscle modelling approach

Age-related alterations of skeletal muscle are numerous and present inconsistently, and the effect of their interaction on contractile performance can be nonintuitive. Hill-type muscle models predict muscle force according to well-characterised contractile phenomena. Coupled with simple, yet reasonably realistic activation dynamics, such models consist of parameters that are meaningfully linked to fundamental aspects of muscle excitation and contraction.
