Implementing a culture of data in franchise systems : the ingredients for success

The purpose of our research is to improve the understanding of the factors that explain the development of exchange relationships and facilitate the customer data management in franchise Systems. To this end, a literature review was conducted in the field of relationship marketing, and particulary, in relation to Bagozzi's theory of exchange (1974; 1975). Through its lexical and thematic analyses, the qualitative study highlights the principle of reciprocity in exchange in franchisor-franchisee-customer relationships with regard to customer data management. Reciprocity seems to be at the core of exchanges between the franchisor, franchisees and their customers.

Abstract The need to study the differences among consumers due to their behavioural heterogeneity and the highly competitive consumer markets is recognized. In this paper, we analyse the potential heterogeneous shopping assessment in retail and how that experience may influence on consequent customer loyalty in a different way. Spousal support for personal goals and relationship satisfaction among women during the transition to parenthood

The aim of this three-wave cross-lagged longitudinal study was to examine the prospective relationships between women’s goal-related spousal support and their relationship satisfaction during the transition to parenthood. Two-hundred and forty-six Finnish women who were either married or cohabited (45% primiparous; 55% multiparous) filled in questionnaires on personal projects (Little, 1983) and related spousal support, relationship satisfaction (Spanier, 1976), and background data three times: in their early pregnancy; one month before childbirth; and three months after childbirth. La percepción de amenaza física en la pareja y el bienestar en la juventud

El presente trabajo estudia la percepción de amenaza hacia la seguridad y/o integridad física en las relaciones de pareja durante la juventud en relación con variables del bienestar personal y de pareja en la actualidad. Participaron 316 jóvenes entre 18 y 36 años (M=23.61; DT=3.678), 72.47% se identificaron con el género femenino. Respecto a la orientación sexual, 64.87% fueron heterosexuales y 35.12% de otras orientaciones sexuales. Relationship satisfaction can help to maintain the positive effect of childbirth on parental self-esteem

The transition to parenthood is accompanied by declined self-esteem levels, which may be explained by parents’ relationship satisfaction. However, prior research examined self-esteem only shortly before and after childbirth and had no or only unmatched childless respondents as a control group, limiting the possibility to examine long-term adaptive processes and the causal interpretation of the associations. Thus, we used panel data (10 years, 4,075 individuals, and 16,122 observations) to compare self-esteem and relationship satisfaction trajectories of parents with matched childless respondents using propensity score matching.
