It is characterized by fluent speech production, reading, writing and normal comprehension, while speech repetition is impaired. Group analysis is a methodology that localizes the interactions arising from patients' symptoms and personality disorders. This marks the passage from a clinical-character aspect to a direct vision of the conflictual and unconscious borders between Ego and Superego. Thus the traumatic personal history of the individual is relatively freed from the constrictions of the repetition compulsion present in the symptomatic structures. The author maintains that combined therapy (a weekly group session and a weekly individual session) reduces cases of abandonment of the group caused by the deepest resistances of the id.

Summary The aim of this study was to evaluate a new method to perform the one repetition maximum (1RM) bench press test, by combining previously validated predictive and practical procedures. Eight young male and 7 females participants, with no previous experience of resistance training, performed a first set of repetitions to fatigue (RTF) with a workload corresponding to 1/3 of their body mass (BM) for a maximum of 25 repetitions. Following a 5-min recovery period, a second set of RTF was performed with a workload corresponding to 1/2 of participants’ BM. The visual mismatch negativity (vMMN) response is an event-related potential (ERP) component, which is automatically elicited by events that violate predictions based on prior events. VMMN experiments use visual stimulus repetition to induce predictions, and vMMN is obtained by subtracting the response to rare unpredicted stimuli from those to frequent stimuli. Kasiski's Test: Couldn't the Repetitions be by Accident?

Abstract In searching for repetitions in a periodic polyalphabetic ciphertext, we usually find several true (causal) repetitions that give information about the period. But we also find some accidental repetitions at distances unrelated to the period which may mislead the cryptanalyst. A simple formula shows that these accidents are rather unlikely.
