Jejunoileal diverticulosis is a rare, often asymptomatic condition, consisting of acquired false diverticula. Diagnosis of ileal perforation is usually made incidentally or after complications, including obstruction, haemorrhage, and diverticulitis. A previously healthy 17-year-old man presented to the Emergency Department with diffuse abdominal pain and fever. CT scan showed air-fluid level in the RLQ and free intraperitoneal air and fluid. The patient underwent an urgent exploratory laparotomy with an intestinal resection and primary anastomosis. Abstract Aim This retrospective study aimed to characterize the baseline status of patients following periodontal maintenance, analysing the association between the long‐term outcome of these patients, smoking, bruxism, and the main clinical and radiographic variables. Material and methods A sample of 174 patients with moderate to severe periodontitis was refined into homogeneous subsamples according to smoking and bruxism and the rate of tooth loss due to periodontal disease (TLPD): 0, 1–2, and >2 teeth. Little is known about orthorexia in both its pathological (orthorexia nervosa, OrNe) and adaptive (healthy orthorexia, HeOr) forms. To date, few studies have been carried out to analyze the personality profile associated with orthorexia, and the results have been contradictory. The aim of the present study was to explore the characteristic pathological personality traits associated with OrNe and HeOr. Few studies examine relationships between intercultural strategies and adaptation among adolescents using a person-oriented approach. Framed from an intercultural psychology perspective, this study used such an approach in order to examine the influence of intercultural profiles, patterns of relationships among variables related to intercultural strategies, on the adaptation of adolescents of both non-dominant and dominant groups. The scientific results of the project were presented on two conferences ICSAAM 2019, September 12-15, 2019 (Ischia, Italy) and DFMN 2019, November 19-22, 2019 (Moscow, Russia). During the first year of the project the main purpose was to choose, purchase and develop investigated materials: epoxy resin and at least two carbon nanofillers (nanotubes, nanofibres and/or graphene). The most promising material solution and the most optimal processing route were chosen and reported. Šis darbs ir aktuāls angļu valodas lietotājiem, strādājošiem Eiropas Komisijā, kas ir iesaistīti projektu pārskatu sagatavošanā un rediģēšanā. Literatūras pārskats ietver nenoteiksmes teoriju un praktisko izmantošanu, kā arī diskursa, diskursa analīzes uninstitucionālās valodas jēdzienus.
