Composing new works of architecture inspired by vestiges from antiquity or archaeology. The reflections and the case study which will be proposed, pertaining to a recent design experiment for the archaeological area and Antiquarium of Tyndaris, are dedicated to this theme. Over and above any charm exerted by such places, by landscapes in which the ruins appear identical in substance and which sometimes manifest themselves as “sub specie æternitatis”, there are reasons linked to the very profession of architect and to the gashes in the crucible of controversies around the role of history in its contentious relationship with architectural design. The text starts from some reflections on ethnomusicological research in Sicily and on the relationship between cultured composers and music of oral tradition. In particular, the genesis and compositional structure of the "Two Etna Christmas Songs transcribed from memory" of 1982-83 is reconstructed.

"L'art. 39, comma 9, del d.l. 6/7/2011 n. 98, conv. con modificazioni nella legge 15/7/2011 n. 111, ha introdotto l'art. 17 bis al decreto legislativo n. 546 del 1992, con il quale è stato creato l'istituto del reclamo e della mediazione, che si applica agli atti emessi dall'Agenzia delle Entrate notificati a decorrere dal primo aprile 2012. Il presente articolo propone delle prime riflessioni sugli aspetti più rilevanti dell'istituto soffermandosi , particolarmente, sulla sua natura giudica e sul procedimento previsto dalla disposizione istitutiva, anche alla luce delle interpretazioni fornite dalle circolari emante dall'Agenzia delle entrate".

È una raccolta di considerazioni pedagogiche radicate in episodi reali ambientati nella Palermo degli anni 90; è l’esempio di come può nascere l’interesse per la ricerca scientifica in ambito pedagogico in seguito ad alcune esperienze di tutoring universitario svolto in modo riflessivo. Un testo che può aiutare molto gli studenti, specialmente nei loro primi mesi di impatto iniziale con la realtà accademica. L’approccio è accattivante, incuriosisce, attira l’attenzione del giovane ventenne perché comunica idee positive sullo studio e sulle relazioni interpersonali mediante brevi, ma frequenti, riflessioni sullo studio universitario.
