Una statua recentemente ricomposta nell'Antiquarium di Solunto, ad un esame dettagliato, risulta essere un assemblaggio di parti pertinenti in origine ad almeno due statue improntate al cd. tipo della Kore di Prassitele, una delle quali pare avere inoltre subito la sostituzione del ritratto originario con una nuova effigie femminile. Lo studio iconografico-stilistico consente di riconoscere nel ritratto attualmente preservato, in piccola parte, sulla fronte Agrippina Maggiore e nel frammento posteriore un'effigie ugualmente di età neroniana. Laser fluence, repetition rate and pulse duration effects on paint ablation

Abstract The efficiency (mm3/(J pulse)) of laser ablation of paint was investigated with nanosecond pulsed Nd:YAG lasers (λ = 532 nm) as a function of the following laser beam parameters: pulse repetition rate (1–10,000 Hz), laser fluence (0.1–5 J/cm2) and pulse duration (5 ns and 100 ns). In our study, the best ablation efficiency (η ≅ 0.3 mm3/J) was obtained with the highest repetition rate (10 kHz) at the fluence F = 1.5 J/cm2. This ablation efficiency can be associated with heat accumulation at high repetition rate, which leads to the ablation threshold decrease. Its main focus is on mediated Christianity. The study draws from different academic and intellectual traditions: the sociology of religion, the history of ideas and media studies. Micro-determination of dithiocarbamates in pesticide formulations using voltammetry

Abstract The purpose of this work was to develop a reliable method for the micro-determination of dithiocarbamates (mancozeb, maneb, propineb, nabam, Na(CH3)2DTC, zineb, ziram, ferbam and thiram) in pesticide formulations for agriculture using adsorptive stripping voltammetry (AdSV). The accuracy of analytical method was valued by analyzing simulate formulation samples prepared by us with known amounts of active ingredients. In addition, the applicability of the AdSV procedure for the analysis of DTCs and EBDTCs in micro-samples was evaluated by estimating its recoveries from spiked commercial formulate samples.
