The article is an attempt to solve the enigma on the potential advantages of the Polish language that comes from the line to the person who will read from Zwierzyniec Mikołaj Rej. The author reviews the most famous and popular meanings of the symbols geese from antiquity to the Renaissance times. Indicated is a long road traveled by this positively associated theme until symbol geese has become synonymous mindless chatter. The opposite of the “idle talk” is the work of Miko³aj Rej, who was the father of Polish literature, hoisted our national culture to new heights.

Sino a quando non sono stati inventati i moderni sistemi di refrigerazione, il compito di mantenere temperature basse era demandato a speciali architetture. Nel Meridione d’Italia e in particolare in Sicilia detto compito era affidato alla “fossa della neve”. In generale trattasi di un ambiente ipogeo nel quale veniva conservata la neve, per essere, nella sua maggiore quantità, utilizzata, nella tarda primavera e nella torrida stagione estiva, per la produzione di gelati e bevande fresche. Darba mērķis bija veikt daudzfaktoru eksperimentus un aprobēt veģetācijas pētījuma metodiku jūras piekrastes reto un aizsargājamo augu sugu fizioloģiskajiem pētījumiem, lai noskaidrotu dabisko faktoru iespējamo ietekmi. Piekrastes zonas ir dinamiski mainīgas vietas, kurās sastopamas daudzas endēmas augu sugas, no kurām liela daļa ir retas un aizsargājamas. Relations between {K, s + 1}-potent matrices and different classes of complex matrices

In this paper, {K,s+1}-potent matrices are considered. A matrix A∈C^(n×n) is called {K,s+1}-potent when K A^(s+1) K = A where K is an involutory matrix and s∈{1,2,3,¿}. Specifically, {K,s+1}-potent matrices are analyzed considering their relations to different classes of complex matrices. These classes of matrices are: {s+1}-generalized projectors, {K}-Hermitian matrices, normal matrices, and matrices B∈C^(n×n) (anti-)commuting with K or such that KB is involutory, Hermitian or normal. In addition, some new relations for K-generalized centrosymmetric matrices have been derived.

This paper examines matrices A∈C^(n×n) such that R A = A^(s+1) R where R^k = I, the identity matrix, and where s and k are nonnegative integers with k⩾2. Spectral theory is used to characterize these matrices. The cases s = 0 and s⩾1 are considered separately since they are analyzed by different techniques.
