Normative western understandings of intimate relationships continue to draw upon the discourses of romantic love and the ideal of finding ‘the one’ who meets all our romantic and sexual needs. As desire is not sexually or emotionally exclusive, even people in normative relationships have to make sense of desires beyond the monogamous ideal. Bisexual people engage in these negotiations from a challenging cultural position. As a desire for more than one gender, bisexuality is persistently culturally associated with wavering desire, promiscuity and multiple partners. Similar and equal relationships? Negotiating bisexuality in an enduring relationship

In the public debate in Finland, same-sex couples’ right to legal recognition is routinely defended by stressing their sameness to heterosexual couples within the discourse of romantic love. This article explores how bisexual women and their partners use these discourses. The five couple interviews were analyzed by implementing discourse analysis. The results highlight how, when taking positions within the discourse of the enduring couple relationship, the interviewees drew on the discourse of romantic love. Il presente articolo è dedicato al confronto tra l’uso del gerundio in italiano e spagnolo; a differenza di quanto si potrebbe pensare a prima vista, la loro corrispondenza formale non implica un identico uso sintattico. La divergenza principale è data dal gerundio predicativo, molto diffuso in spagnolo e agrammaticale in italiano, divergenza che è dovuta a una differente evoluzione sintattica risalente ai primi secoli delle lingue romanze. In spagnolo vi fu infatti la sostituzione sistematica del participio presente latino attraverso il gerundio, mentre nell’italiano del Tardo Medioevo emerse la tendenza a coindicizzare il soggetto del gerundio esclusivamente con il soggetto (o con l’agent…
Anna Murià, publicista i ideòloga (1936-1939)

L’objectiu d’aquest article és seguir la trajectòria com a publicista d’Anna Murià compresa entre 1936, any en què s’incorporà al Diari de Barcelona i el 1939, data en què va emprendre el camí de l’exili cap a França. Volem constatar l’existència d’una producció ideològica i política important durant aquests anys en els principals mitjans de l’època. L’estudi d’aquest període, el més desconegut de l’autora, aporta noves dades i resulta interessant atès el canvi significatiu que l’esclat de la guerra i el posterior exili propiciaren en la vida de Murià, perceptible tant des del punt de vista ideològic com personal, fet que repercutí clarament en la seva obra.
