Unexpected behaviour of copper(I) towards a tridentate Schiff base: Synthesis, structure and properties of new Cu(I)-Cu(II) and Cu(II) complexes

Derivative 2 further reacted with halogenated solvents to yield halogeno-Cu(II) salts, [CuClL]PF6 (3) using CHCl3 and [CuBrL]Br3 (4) using CHBr3. The title compound, {(C9H11N2)[Mn(NCS)3]} n , has been obtained as a side product of the salt metathesis reaction of 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide, (EMIm)Br, and K2[Mn(NCS)4]. The structure consists of discrete 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium cations and an anionic two-dimensional network of manganese(II)-based complex anions, interconnected by thiocyanate ions. Every Mn2+ ion is coordinated by three S atoms of three NCS− ions and three N atoms of further three NCS− ions in a meridional octahedral fashion.

Sweet's syndrome induced by removable partial denture using a CoCr alloy: case report.

Sweet's syndrome is an acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis characterized by fever, neutrophilia and erythematous skin lesions. This disease typically occurs as a reactive event in response to infective, inflammatory or neoplastic processes. The aim of this work was to describe a rare case of Sweet's syndrome induced by dental removable partial denture using a CoCr alloy.

A case report of double etiology of ecthyma gangrenosum

Abstract Rationale: Ecthyma gangrenosum is a cutaneous infection, most commonly occurring during sepsis evolution with Pseudomonas aeruginosa on an immunocompromised background. There have been rare case reports in previously healthy children and rarer are the cases with double etiology. Patient concerns: We present the case of a female Caucasian patient, aged 1 year and 8 months, who developed severe sepsis during flu evolution with predominant respiratory and cerebral manifestations. Die vollstandige Reihe der Methyl-Substitutionsprodukte des Bis(η-benzol)chrom(I)+·-Radikalkations sowie ausgewahlte deuterierte Derivate desselben wurden in Losung und in glasartig erstarrtem Medium ESR-spektroskopisch untersucht. 1H-, 2D- und 53Cr-Hyperfeinparameter werden mitgeteilt und das Proton/Deuteron-Kopplungskonstantenverhaltnis wird diskutiert. Die Betrage von a(1HAren) und a(1HMethyl) variieren innerhalb enger Grenzen (3,454,15 bzw. 0,50,7 G), wobei a(1HAren) mit zunehmendem Methylierungsgrad zunimmt.
