Following our general approach to Lambda-doubling specificity in the capture of dipolar molecules by ions [M. Auzinsh et al., J. Chem. Phys. 128, 184304 (2008)], we calculate the rate coefficients for the title process in the temperature range 10(-4)<T<10(2) K. Measurement of rotational relaxation in the ground state of methane perturbed by argon at low temperature

International audience; Relaxation processes at low temperature in methane perturbed by argon have been investigated on the basis of new measurements. Diode laser absorption spectra of methane in the region of the dyad nu2/nu4 in supersonic expansions have been recorded. The time of relaxation of the ground state mean rotational energy was derived from the observed dependences of the rotational temperature on the concentration in the jet. A semi-classical model was used to calculate the state-to-state relaxation rate constants at room temperature. The present study sought to clarify the roles of fixed-term employment and perceived job insecurity in relation to an employee's job attitudes (job satisfaction, turnover intentions) and well-being (work engagement, job exhaustion). Specifically, we examined which of the two situations, high subjective job insecurity and a permanent job (i.e., violation hypothesis) or high subjective job insecurity and a fixed-term job (i.e., intensification hypothesis), would lead to the most negative job attitudes and well-being. Extending the sGLOH descriptor

This paper proposes an extension of the sGLOH keypoint descriptor [3] which improves its robustness and discriminability. The sGLOH descriptor can handle discrete rotations by a cyclic shift of its elements thanks to its circular structure, but its performance can decrease when the keypoint relative rotation is in between two sGLOH discrete rotations. The proposed extension couples together two sGLOH descriptors for the same patch with different rotations in order to cope with this issue and it can be also applied straightly to the sCOr and sGOr matching strategies of sGLOH. Purpose – This paper aims to contribute to talent management literature by examining empirically the relationship between talent identification and development tools. Design/methodology/approach – The study sample consisted of 112 Argentina-based companies. All participants completed an online survey containing a list of identification and development practices. Responses were analyzed with SPSS 19. Findings – Results show that companies running more talent identification processes (performance management and potential identification) make use of a greater number of development tools. We have developed a method for the transformation of hydroxymatairesinol to optically pure (+)-lariciresinol and (+)-cyclolariciresinol via the hitherto unreported lignan 7-hydroxysecoisolariciresinol. The two naturally occurring isomers of hydroxymatairesinol were reduced with LiAlH4 to a mixture of two epimers of 7-hydroxysecoisolariciresinol, which were further selectively transformed to (+)-lariciresinol and (+)-cyclolariciresinol by an acid catalysed intramolecular cyclisation reaction. Left-handed neutrino disappearance probe of neutrino mass and character

We explore the sensitivity to a non vanishing neutrino mass offered by dynamical observables, i.e., branching ratios and polarizations. The longitudinal polarization in the C.M. frame decreases by a 4% for $D^+ \rightarrow \tau^+ \nu_\tau$ and $m_{\nu_\tau}=24$ MeV. Taking advantage of the fact that the polarization is a Lorentz variant quantity, we study the polarization effects in a boosted frame. By means of a neutrino beam, produced by a high velocity boosted parent able to flip the neutrino helicity, we find that an enhanced left-handed neutrino deficit, induced by a Wigner rotation, appears.
