W artykule nakreślono możliwe reperkusje większej obecności przedstawicieli islamu w Europie na początku XXI stulecia. Odsetek ten wzrósł z 2% w 1950 r. do 6% w 2020. W recepcji nowej fali napływu muzułmanów na Stary Kontynent przedstawiono przewidywane konsekwencje. Rozważono zaistnienie dwu scenariuszy. Jednym z nich jest narastające wciąż przekonanie o zagrożeniu ze strony rozwijającej się w Europie populacji wyznawców islamu. Innym możliwym rozwiązaniem jest ich sukcesywna integracja. Dla obu wersji przedstawiono wyraźne przesłanki opierające się na znanych faktach, decyzjach społeczno-politycznych, ratyfikowanych umowach oraz deklaracjach decydentów. Artikkelissa selvitetään Henri Bergsonin nauruteoriaa teoksessa Nauru ja arvioidaan sen merkitystä osana Bergsonin filosofiaa yleisemmin. Lisäksi artikkelissa täydennetään Bergsonin nauruteoriaa Gilles Deleuzen, Baruch Spinozan ja Friedrich Nietzschen ajatusten pohjalta. Bergson analysoi teoksessa komiikan synnyttämää naurua ja näkee tämän elämän reaktiona sitä kangistavia taipumuksia vastaan. Elämän luovan mukautumisen ja sen kangistumisen välisestä jännitteestä käytetään artikkelissa nimitystä ”koominen jännite”. En este artículo comparo la primera y última edición de la Introducción de la ciencia del derecho de Gustav Radbruch. Me centro en aquellos aspectos que bosquejan su concepto de derecho, a saber, la relación entre derecho y moral, su modelo de Estado y la creación judicial del derecho. El resultado está determinado por la circunstancia vital e histórica de las dos ediciones: la primera publicada antes de la IGM, siendo Radbruch un joven docente en Heidelberg; la última fue redactada ya en la República de Weimar, habiendo ocupado la cartera de Justicia y siendo un reconocido jurista.

International audience; Purpose: To characterize the possible cytotoxic effects of oxysterols (7-hydroxycholesterol (7-OH), 25-hydroxycholesterol (25-OH)) in human retinal pigment epithelial cells (ARPE-19) and to detail the relationships between some of these effects. Methods: ARPE-19 cells were treated with 7-OH and 25-OH. Cell viability was measured with the MTT assay. Membrane permeability, mitochondrial potential, and lysosomal integrity were measured by flow cytometry with propidium iodide, DiOC6(3), and acridine orange, respectively. „Służba Boża Kościoła” Josefa Andreasa Jungmanna szerokie pojmowanie liturgii i jego krytyka

W pierwszej części artykułu omówiono kontrowersyjne poglądy J.A. Jungmanna, uznające za liturgię szeroko rozumianą „służbę Bożą Kościoła”. Natomiast przedmiotem drugiej części opracowania jest polemika związana z reflksją Jungmanna odnośnie do definicji liturgii. Jungmann pozostawał wierny promowanemu przez siebie dość ogólnie sformułowanemu określeniu liturgii, podkreślając potrzebę właściwego pojmowania użytych w nim terminów. Wywołana jego stanowiskiem polemika jest przykładem merytorycznej dyskusji, wnoszącej godny przypomnienia wkład w rozwój myśli teologicznej.

Der Beitrag untersucht den Nürnberger Juristenprozess von 1947 in einer doppelten Perspektive: Einerseits wird der Schwerpunkt auf die unmittelbare Rezeption des Urteils in der Fachöffentlichkeit gelegt. Hauptquellen der Untersuchung sind dabei die damaligen Fachzeitschriften und Protokolle von Juristentagungen. Dieser Ansatz ermöglicht, durch eine differenzierte Analyse der Komplexität der damaligen Diskurse (wie im Fall des berühmten Aufsatzes Gustav Radbruchs zum Prozess) gerechter zu werden. DNA barcoding facilitates many evolutionary and ecological studies, including the examination of the dietary diversity of herbivores. In this study, we present a survey of ecological associations between herbivorous beetles and host plants from seriously threatened European steppic grasslands. We determined host plants for the majority (65%) of steppic leaf beetles (55 species) and weevils (59) known from central Europe using two barcodes (trnL and rbcL) and two sequencing strategies (Sanger for mono/oligophagous species and Illumina for polyphagous taxa). An important factor affecting the life-history of an organism is parental investment in reproduction: reproductive decisions are almost invariably costly. Therefore, reproductive decisions should be beneficial in terms of increased offspring number or fitness. For example, egg laying decisions in many insects can influence resource availability of the offspring through changes in the larval density, and resource availability will have effects on many life-history traits.
