In meetings between the silversmiths Pietro Accardi and Silvano Barraja with Luciana Macaluso, professor of architectural design, the events that reduced the church of San Eligio in Palermo to ruins were retraced and a different destiny for the monument has been envisioned. The church was built by the silversmith confraternity in 1650 and dedicated to their patron saint, a silversmith of French origins. The earthquake of 15 January 1940 damaged the structure and, three years later, a bomb destroyed the roof of the main body. Riferendosi al caso iconico della collina di Pizzo Sella a Palermo, questo lavoro affronta il legame peculiare che in questo caso si esprime tra patrimonio, paesaggio e turismo. En aquest article em propòs reflexionar sobre la recerca de mecanismes de representació literària de la diferència cultural i econòmica que es proposen erosionar la separació que justifica la dicotomia jo/altre. Ho faré a partir de l'estudi d'un cas concret: el volum La pell de la frontera (2014) de Francesc Serés. Aquest llibre contribuí a difondre la situació desesperada de molts migrants, així com també a denunciar la desatenció institucional davant d'uns canvis socials, econòmics i demogràfics que han modificat d'arrel la composició de molts pobles del Baix Cinca i del Segrià. Szwedzkie kamienie runiczne stanowią ważne uzupełnienie naszej wiedzy o aktywności Skandynawów w Bizancjum w XI w., w szczególności w ramach Gwardii Wareskiej. Pochodzące w największej liczbie z Upplandii są również świadectwem zmian w religijności przybyszy z Półwyspu Skandynawskiego, którzy z pogan przeistaczali się w chrześcijan. Umieszczanie na kamieniach runicznych krzyży, fragmentów modlitw za zmarłych, relacji z podróży czy pielgrzymki, było świadectwem wzrostu znaczenia nowej wiary, do czego przyczyniali się wracający do domów po długiej służbie gwardziści.

Palermo è molti paesaggi; è una geografia di luoghi esagerati in grado di generare una condizione di costante stupore in chi la attraversi. Le molte anime di popoli diversi che l’hanno abitata e di quelli che ancora la abitano costituiscono un mosaico fatto di relazioni strettissime e inedite tra piante, animali, uomini, mare e luce.
