The Influence of Sales Stimulation Methods on the Behaviour of Consumers While Making the Decision on Purchase of Products in the Latvian Market

2018

The purpose of this research is the determination the extent of influence of various stimulation methods on the behaviour of consumers while making the decision on purchase of products in the Latvian market. In the course of the research approaches to development and realization of sales’ stimulation process were used which were described in scientific literature and the results of empirical researches that were made under the leadership of the authors. In the article the following research methods were used: abstract literature analysis, Latvian residents’ questionnaire (1320 respondents), and the correlation analysis. As a result the model for developing and realization of sales promotion…

Protocol: Literature review on the psychometric properties of the short versions of the scales of social desirability in the answers to competency se…

2018

[EN] Research in business organization in general and talent management (in university or professional students) uses in many cases self-administered questionnaires as a source of data to assess people's competencies. In clinical psychology, it has been shown that self-evaluations of behaviors may present a bias of social desirability. However, even in this field of research it is not usual to measure its effect when taking data. Our work proposes a protocol to find a set of scales of social desirability (SD) with less than 20 items that are valid and reliable. We also intend to identify if SD scales are associated with the self-assessments of some transversal competences.

New triterpenoid estersaponins from the root barks of Pittosporum verticillatum subsp. verticillatum and evaluation of cytotoxicities

2013

The phytochemical investigation of the root barks of Pittosporum verticillatum Bojer subsp. verticillatum led to the isolation of three new triterpene saponins, 3-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1→3)]-[α-L-arabinofuranosyl-(1→4)]-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl-21-O-(2-acetoxy-2-methylbutanoyl)-R1-barrigenol (1), 3-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1→3)]-[α-L-arabinofuranosyl-(1→4)]-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl-21-O-(2-acetoxy-2-methylbutanoyl)-28-O-acetyl-R1-barrigenol (2), 3-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1→3)]-[α-L-arabinofuranosyl-(1→4)]-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl-21-O-β,β-dimethylacryloyl-22-O-angeloyl-R1-barrigenol (3), and one known saponin sen…

Sentimientos y teoría de la acción

2001

In this paper…

Automating the Parameter Selection in VRP: An Off-line Parameter Tuning Tool Comparison

2014

Vehicle route optimization is an important application of combinatorial optimization. Therefore, a variety of methods has been proposed to solve different challenging vehicle routing problems. An important step in adopting these methods to solve real-life problems is to find appropriate parameters for the routing algorithms. In this chapter, we show how this task can be automated using parameter tuning by presenting a set of comparative experiments on seven state-of-the-art tuning methods. We analyze the suitability of these methods in configuring routing algorithms, and give the first critical comparison of automated parameter tuners in vehicle routing. Our experimental results show that t…

Orientamenti dell'ABF sul c.d. contratto di wrapping. In particolare: del collegamento col contratto di credito e della possibile applicazione dell'a…

2021

The aim of this contribution is to provide a critical review of the case law of ABF on wrapping, a trilateral operation whose purpose is to finance the purchase of a car. After having reconstructed the rationale of the discipline of linked contracts in the Testo Unico Bancario, the contribution criticizes ABF’s rulings that recognize a bilateral link between the wrapping contract and the credit contract, and provides that, due to the breach of the wrapping contract, the concrete purpose pursued by the parties with the purchase contract is impossibile to achieve

A branch-and-cut algorithm for the soft-clustered vehicle-routing problem

2021

Abstract The soft-clustered vehicle-routing problem is a variant of the classical capacitated vehicle-routing problem (CVRP) in which customers are partitioned into clusters and all customers of the same cluster must be served by the same vehicle. We introduce a novel symmetric formulation of the problem in which the clustering part is modeled with an asymmetric sub-model. We solve the new model with a branch-and-cut algorithm exploiting some known valid inequalities for the CVRP that can be adapted. In addition, we derive problem-specific cutting planes and new heuristic and exact separation procedures. For square grid instances in the Euclidean plane, we provide lower-bounding techniques …
