This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of social media and entrepreneurial knowledge on the entrepreneurial interest of STIE Pemuda students both partially and simultaneously. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The sample used was 100 students who had taken entrepreneurship courses. Oral N-acetylcysteine attenuates the rat pulmonary inflammatory response to antigen.

Oxidative stress is involved in the pathophysiology of inflammatory airway diseases including asthma; therefore, antioxidants might be of clinical benefit in asthma treatment. In the present study, the effects of N-acetylcysteine on sensitised brown Norway rats were examined. N-Acetylcysteine (3 mmol kg body weight(-1) administered orally) was given daily for 1 week before challenge and various antigen-induced pulmonary responses were studied. Chronological expression of Ciliated Bronchial Epithelium 1 during pulmonary development

Ciliated Bronchial Epithelium (CBE) 1 is a novel gene, which is expressed in ciliated cells. As cilia are important during embryogenesis, the present authors characterised the murine homologue of CBE1 (Cbe1) and compared its temporal expression during murine and human lung development. Cbe1 cDNA was cloned and characterised using sequencing, standard PCR and Western blotting. Mouse and human embryonic/fetal lungs (HELs) were harvested for mRNA analysis and protein localisation in vivo and in vitro using RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry. GM-CSF expression by human lung microvascular endothelial cells: in vitro and in vivo findings.

Recently, many findings indicate that granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) plays an important role in the pathogenesis of acute and chronic lung diseases. In the present paper, the production of this cytokine in human pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (HPMEC) is investigated. In an in vitro study, quiescent HPMEC did not express GM-CSF, either at the transcriptional or at the protein level. Introduction In patients with COPD, exacerbations are among the most relevant safety measures. In this analysis of data from the observational DACCORD study, we report the frequency of exacerbations in a COPD population. Methods To get insights into occurrence and frequency of exacerbations, data from 4,123 patients were obtained from 349 primary and secondary care centres in Germany. CD34+ progenitor to endothelial cell transition in post-pneumonectomy angiogenesis.

In many species, pneumonectomy triggers compensatory lung growth that results in an increase not only in lung volume, but also in alveolar number. Whether the associated alveolar angiogenesis involves the contribution of blood-borne progenitor cells is unknown. To identify and characterize blood-borne progenitor cells contributing to lung growth after pneumonectomy in mice, we studied wild-type and wild-type/green fluorescence protein (GFP) parabiotic mice after left pneumonectomy.
