The homotopy Leray spectral sequence

In this work, we build a spectral sequence in motivic homotopy that is analogous to both the Serre spectral sequence in algebraic topology and the Leray spectral sequence in algebraic geometry. Here, we focus on laying the foundations necessary to build the spectral sequence and give a convenient description of its $E_2$-page. Our description of the $E_2$-page is in terms of homology of the local system of fibers, which is given using a theory similar to Rost's cycle modules. We close by providing some sample applications of the spectral sequence and some hints at future work.

Tests were conducted in 2011; was studied the chance to develop two production cycles in the same year. For both cycles were used plants set up in 2010. The two production cycles were conducted during "winter-spring" and the second during the "summer-autumn". For the second cycle were used two different types of plants. Production levels reached in the second cycle were satisfying in terms of quantity and quality for both types of plants. Cumulative production amount to 70 tons/ha.

Geometric Properties of the 3D Spine Curve

Through a 3D reconstruction of the human back surface using structured light techniques, we study the properties of spine curve by means of a set of parameters related to measures commonly applied in medicine. In this way, descriptors for measuring the abnormalities in the projections of the front and sagittal planes can be computed. We build the spine curve in 3D and analyse the behaviour of the Frenet frame when along the curve the deformation processes in idiophatic scoliosis appear.

This paper presents the study of the prestigious terracotta votive figurines from the Iberian Iron Age sanctuary of La Serreta (Alicante province, Spain) composed of 174 items. Portable X-ray fluorescence (PXRF) was used to identify elemental markers that permit us to observe the differences between local and non-local terracotta figurines and furthermore to evaluate the geographical influence of the La Serreta sanctuary using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The Partial Least Squares Discriminant Analysis (PLSDA) statistical method was also used to classify the figurines of uncertain geographical origin. Legume inoculants to reduce soil emissions of nitrous oxide

Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a potent greenhouse gas involved in depletion of the ozone layer and mainly arising from the soil and from agricultural activities. Within this framework, INRA teams inoculated soybean plants with natural strains of Rhizobia bacteria. Convincing results regarding the consumption of N2O greenhouse gases were obtained.
