INTERNAL AUDIT: DEFINING, OBJECTIVES, FUNCTIONS AND STAGES

This article aims, through a detailed presentation as to provide clarification for a better understanding of what internal audit definition, objectives, functions and stages of its development mean. It is also exposed a brief history about the emergence and development of internal audit and regulatory framework. I also plan to linking theory and practice by reference to documents used: both the evidence considered and especially those prepared by the auditors in connection with the performance audit and its use in the audit report.

This study examines how disability service workers identify the discourses of the client-worker relationships. We studied the clientworker relationship from the perspective of the relational dialectics theory with a focus on relational contradictions and the meanings created within discursive struggles. We analyzed the interview data from 22 social workers using contrapuntal analysis. AbstractIn this chapter we examine a foreign language learning environment in a community-engaged setting in a Canadian city through a new materialist lens. As part of a service-learning project, Canadian students of Finnish language and culture visit a Finnish language seniors’ centre regularly to participate in different activities and spend time with the Finnish-speaking seniors. We examine the assemblage of the participants (seniors and students) and one artefact, a map, and offer a close analysis of the intra-action that takes place during one visit at the centre. Application-layer denial-of-service attacks have become a serious threat to modern high-speed computer networks and systems. Unlike network-layer attacks, application-layer attacks can be performed by using legitimate requests from legitimately connected network machines which makes these attacks undetectable for signature-based intrusion detection systems. Miten luokanopettajaopiskelijat arvioivat itseään tekstien tuottajina?

Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan, miten luokanopettajaopiskelijat (N = 76) arvioivat omaa tekstien tuottamistaan ja sen oppimista. Tutkimusaineistona olivat lomakekyselyn avoimet vastaukset. Aineisto analysoitiin aineistolähtöisen ja teoriaohjaavan sisällönanalyysin keinoin. Tulokset osoittavat, että opiskelijat lähestyvät tekstien tuottamista ja sen oppimista suhtautumis-, osaamis- ja kehittymiskeskeisesti. Kokonaisuudessaan itsearviointien taustalla on melko kokonaisvaltainen kirjoittamiskäsitys, jossa edustuvat selkeimmin genre- ja prosessidiskurssit ja vähiten sosiaalisen ja sosiopoliittisen toiminnan diskurssit.
