A Time to Lead : Changes in Relational Team Leadership Processes over Time

This study analyzes how team members perceive changes in relational leadership processes over time. Interview data from three virtual teams ( N = 18) were analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis. The findings illustrate how ideals of well-functioning leadership and teamwork communication can differ both between and within teams at different times. Team members may perceive benefits of the passage of time in teamwork, including experienced closeness, adjustment, and clarification of practices, as well as challenges such as rigidity and historical baggage. Conceptualising Violence in Close Relationships : Discrepancies Between Police Conceptions and the Letter of the Law in Finland

AbstractThe focus in this Finland-based study is on violence in close relationships—a term that partly overlaps with the more commonly used ‘domestic violence’, ‘family violence’ and ‘intimate partner violence’. We demonstrate how police officers’ conceptualisations of such violence differ from how it is defined in relevant legal documents. The data consists of the Government Bill and legal text on the subject issued as part of a legal reform enacted in 2010, and of a qualitative sample of freelist responses from 79 police officers. Bakalaura darbā tika izvirzīta hipotēze par negatīvu sakarību starp priekštatu par uztverto partnera melu biežumu un apmierinātību ar attiecībām. Tika veikts korelatīvs pētījums, kopumā pētījumā piedalījās 121 cilvēks, 90 sievietes, vecums M = 27,62, SD = 8,13 un 31 vīrietis M = 31,32, SD = 9,42. kā arī, lai varētu izmantot iegūtos datus, cilvēkiem bija jāatrodas partnerattiecībās. Seguendo le suggestioni della recente Visual History, viene scelto il cinema come fonte cui attingere per ricostruire i rapporti tra madre e padre che, nel “decennio più lungo del secolo breve”, si avviavano ad una lenta ridefinizione.
