For the care process of a patient, it is essential to get the right information at the right moment and in the right form. This paper analyses PE as the primary mode of interaction between a patient and a healthcare organisation. The approach is illustrated with a study among nurses based on their conceptions about PE. Praca domowa ucznia stanowi integralną część procesu dydaktyczno-wychowawczego. Dopiero w połączeniu z pracą domową lekcja szkolna tworzy pełną jednostkę procesu nauczania. Pogląd na rolę i wartość domowej pracy ucznia ulegał na przestrzeni dziejów nauczania szkolnego licznym zmianom. Aktualnie kwestia prac domowych jest szeroko dyskutowana, zarówno przez rodziców, jak i nauczycieli. Niektóre szkoły całkowicie z nich rezygnują, a inne ich bronią jako ważnego narzędzia edukacyjnego. Celem artykułu jest wyeksponowanie elementów potwierdzających konieczność pozostawienia prac domowych jako obowiązujących w procesie kształcenia oraz wskazanie czynników negujących potrzebę dalszego ich istnienia.
