Traceless chirality transfer from a norbornene β-amino acid to pyrimido[2,1-a]isoindole enantiomers

Abstract The synthesis of two enantiomeric pairs of pyrimidoisoindoles 9a, 9b and 10a, 10b is reported. During a domino ring-closure reaction, followed by cycloreversion, the chirality of diendo-(−)-(1R,2S,3R,4S)-3-aminobicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2-carboxamide [(−)-1] was successfully transfered to heterocycles (+)-9a, (+)-10a, (−)-9b, (−)-10b and (−)-10c.

Abstract Phthalonitrile, acetoxime and cobalt(II) nitrate hexahydrate are combined in acetone with formation of stable and easy to handle Co(II) complex [Co{C6H4C(NH2)NC(ONCMe2)2}2](NO3)2 (1). Interaction of 1 with excess alcohols ROH (also used as solvents) and 2 equiv of (NH4)2S leads, in one-step, to alkyl 2-carbamimidoylbenzoate nitrates [C6H4COOR{2-C(NH2)2}]NO3 [R=CH3, C2H5, C3H7, CH(CH3)2]. Similarly, N1,N3-dialkyl-1H-isoindole-1,3-diaminate nitrates [C6H4C(NR′)NC(NR′)]NO3 [R=C3H7, C4H9, C(CH3)3, CH2CH2OH, CH2CH2SC2H5) can be directly produced from 1 by its reaction with 4 equiv of amines and 2 equiv of (NH4)2S in alcoholic media.

The work-family interface and its correlates : integrating variable and person oriented approaches

The aim of this research was to examine key correlates of the interaction between work and family in one Nordic country, Finland, using a person- oriented and variable-oriented approach. The correlates that were chosen and examined over the course of three studies were job control and work-family boundary management styles, turnover intention, core self-evaluations, and vigor at work. The title compound, C16H24N2O2, previously obtained as a yellow oil, exhibits a rather low melting point close to room temperature 297–298 K). In the molecule, the isoindoline ring system is approximately planar and coplanar to the nitro group, forming a dihedral angle of 5.63 (15)°. In the crystal, only weak N—H...O and C—H...π interactions are observed, linking molecules into chains parallel to the [101] direction.

Kunto- ja urheilutestauksessa halutaan usein selvittää henkilön aerobinen ja anaerobinen kynnys. Kynnykset voidaan jakaa määrityksessä käytettyjen muuttujien mukaan ventilaatio- ja laktaattikynnyksiin. Kynnykset ilmiönä ovat kiistanalaisia ja haasteellisia. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin kirjallisuudesta löytyviä aerobisen ja anaerobisen kynnyksen määritysmenetelmiä ja niiden soveltuvuutta suomalaiseen kuntotestausprotokollaan. Tutkimuksessa testattiin 12 kynnysmääritysmenetelmää, joista yksi oli kirjallisuudesta löytynyt, kahdeksan oli löytyneistä jatkokehitettyjä ja kolme uusia menetelmiä. Liiketoimintatiedon järjestelmät ovat kasvattaneet suosiotaan. Tämän tutkielman tavoitteena on selvittää edesauttavatko nämä järjestelmät päätöksentekoprosessia. Tutkielmassa esitellään päätöksenteon tukijärjestelmien synty, historia ja tällaisten järjestelmien erilaiset tavoitteet. Järjestelmien teknologiset taustat ja päätöksentekoprosessi esitellään. Tutkielman aineisto on kerätty elektronisella kyselylomakkeella eri organisaatioiden työntekijöiltä. Kyselylomake koostui seitsemästä taustakysymyksestä ja 24 väittämästä mitaten kahdeksaa eri muuttujaa.
