High precision numerical approach for Davey–Stewartson II type equations for Schwartz class initial data

We present an efficient high-precision numerical approach for Davey–Stewartson (DS) II type equa- tions, treating initial data from the Schwartz class of smooth, rapidly decreasing functions. As with previous approaches, the presented code uses discrete Fourier transforms for the spatial dependence and Driscoll’s composite Runge–Kutta method for the time dependence. Since DS equations are non-local, nonlinear Schrödinger equations with a singular symbol for the non-locality, standard Fourier methods in practice only reach accuracy of the order of 10−6or less for typical examples. W artykule opisano wyniki uzyskane z opracowanej aplikacji integrującej model rozkładu widma promieniowania słonecznego oraz model krzemowego monokrystalicznego ogniwa fotowoltaicznego. W ramach badań opracowano program - symulator widma promieniowania słonecznego wykorzystujący algorytmy i procedury numeryczne oparte na modelu SMARTS2. Ponadto, przygotowano aplikację pozwalającą na przeprowadzenie modelowania komputerowego zachowania się ogniw i analizę zmienności ich parametrów przy zastosowaniu różnych rozkładów spektralnych oświetlenia oraz różnych parametrów materiałowo-konstrukcyjnych ogniw PV. Se presenta el estudio de un total de cinco yacimientos localizados en el tramo superior del Riu de les Coces (Alt Maestral, Castellón). Partiendo de los problemas derivados de la naturaleza de la información manejada se aborda su contextualización en el marco de la secuencia arqueológica y del hábitat del Holoceno inicial en el Maestrazgo y en el contexto regional. Los resultados obtenidos permiten por un lado, relativizar la idea de una secuencia local continua e ininterrumpida desde el Magdaleniense superior hasta el Mesolítico Reciente, y por otro. la sucesión de dos modelos diferentes de ocupación del territorio.

Kin selection on one hand, and gamete interactions in post-ejaculatory sexual selection on the other are two major research themes that have risen to prominence over the past half century and have simultaneously developed into central fields of research in evolutionary biology. There is a natural connection between the two: when gametes interact with each other, very commonly many of them originate from the same parent and are thus siblings. For example, sperm competition will almost always involve competition between sibling gametes even if the interacting parents are not related to each other.
