The depth and persistence of the Great Recession that started in 2008 had a considerable impact on income distribution and inequality. Therefore, studies of living standards and evolution of income inequality are trend topics nowadays. Our goal was to estimate the impact of the economic crises on household expenditure and the trends and evolution of regional inequality. Dynamiczne przemiany globalizacyjne i współczesna, wszechobecna nowa kultura medialna wywierają duży wpływ na systemy kształcenia. Istniejące w Polsce i krajach ościennych rozwiązania oparto na tradycyjnym modelu kształcenia, kładąc nacisk na jego cechy egalitarne. Wykorzystanie w przestrzeni edukacyjnej nowych narzędzi technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych w praktyce utrwala źle pojęty egalitaryzm kształcenia i nie eliminuje związanych z tym zagrożeń. Efektywne dostosowanie się do wyzwań społeczeństwa wiedzy wymagać będzie wykorzystania wwiększym stopniu modeli elitarnych.

[Context] Despite the fact that many sulfur-bearing molecules, ranging from simple diatomic species up to astronomical complex molecules, have been detected in the interstellar medium, the sulfur chemistry in space is largely unknown and a depletion in the abundance of S-containing species has been observed in the cold, dense interstellar medium. The chemical form of the missing sulfur has yet to be identified.
Euclid preparation : XVIII. The NISP photometric system

Euclid will be the first space mission to survey most of the extragalactic sky in the 0.95–2.02 µm range, to a 5 σ point-source median depth of 24.4 AB mag. This unique photometric dataset will find wide use beyond Euclid’s core science. In this paper, we present accurate computations of the Euclid YE, JE, and HE passbands used by the Near-Infrared Spectrometer and Photometer (NISP), and the associated photometric system. We pay particular attention to passband variations in the field of view, accounting for, among other factors, spatially variable filter transmission and variations in the angle of incidence on the filter substrate using optical ray tracing. On modified α-ϕ-fuzzy contractive mappings and an application to integral equations

Abstract We introduce the notion of a modified α-ϕ-fuzzy contractive mapping and prove some results in fuzzy metric spaces for such kind of mappings. The theorems presented provide a generalization of some interesting results in the literature. Two examples and an application to integral equations are given to illustrate the usability of our theory.

Le trincee drenanti profonde rappresentano uno dei metodi più efficaci per la mitigazione del rischio da frana, in pendii con falda idrica. Esse sono realizzate mediante pannelli o pali secanti. Il riempimento è costituito di calcestruzzo poroso o materiale granulare. Se le trincee sono adeguatamente “innestate” nel terreno stabile e il materiale di riempimento ha sufficiente resistenza e rigidezza come il calcestruzzo poroso, si ha ulteriore in-cremento di resistenza a taglio per effetto shear keys, oltre a quello derivante dalla riduzione delle pressioni in-terstiziali. Identification of international media events by spatial and temporal aggregation of RSS flows of newspapers

The GEOMEDIA research project (ANR Corpus, 2013-2015) aims to elaborate an international observatory of media events, based on the collection of RSS flows sent by 100 newspapers of French and English languages. This contribution (1) describes the complexity of the information contained in RSS flows according to space, time and media dimensions; (2) derives basic solutions for the identification of international events on the basis of procedures of time aggregation; (3) analyzes the spatial interaction between countries through an analysis of co-quotations in RSS flows; (4) checks the existence of possible interactions between the two previous dimensions.
The Blog, the Blogger and the Other on the Net

This work describes a qualitative research, still in progress, about blogging. This experience is fully linked to the concept of "social presence": users feel "to be there" in the virtual environment. From a brief review of researches about blogging, we propose a work that, through a semi-structured interview (submitted on line), could analyze the mental representations of bloggers. Moreover, we have the purpose to read these impressions through a key pattern of interactions between blog, blogger and other users. The primary goal of this study, still preparatory, is to explore the psychological means of blogging.
