Library for model querying
2012
Query and transformation languages make it easy to work with models, but they are bound to one particular data store. That makes them hard to adopt in projects where data is stored in a different repository, which hinders more widespread use of transformations and models. Instead of adopting a transformation language to a new data store, we propose to build a query and transformation library for the general-purpose language that is already used in a project. In this paper we demonstrate that it can be easily by implementing such a library for an EMOF-like data store in the Lua language.

International audience; Complex spatial analysis requires the combination of heterogeneous datasets. However the identification of a dataset of interest is not a trivial task. Users need to review metadata records in order to select the most suitable datasets. We propose the implementation of a system for metadata management based on semantic web technologies. Our implementation helps the user with the selection task. In this paper, we present a CSW that uses a triplestore as its metadata repository. Localisée en limite SE de l’agglomération rémoise, sur la commune de Cernay-les-Reims, l’emprise de l’opération porte sur une surface de 11 300 m2. Cette neuvième concentration de vestiges, fouillée sur un parc d’activité, correspond à un établissement rural de l’Antiquité tardive, prolongé à l’époque médiévale par une zone d’activité artisanale. Ces deux occupations se développent le long d’un axe de circulation qui perdure vraisemblablement de l’Antiquité à la première guerre mondiale.

Tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin brändikokemuksen vaikutusta verkkokauppaympäristöjen käyttäjäkokemukseen ja käyttöaikeeseen. Brändikokemusta tarkasteltiin kahden ulottuvuuden kautta: brändityytyväisyyden ja brändiluottamuksen. Käyttäjäkokemusta tarkasteltiin käytännöllisten (frustraation, kompetenssin ja hallinnan tunteen) ja esteettisten (kauneuden ja mielikuvituksettomuuden) tunteiden näkökulmista. Hydrophobic and cation exchange mechanisms in the retention of basic compounds in a polymeric column.

A cation exchange retention mechanism concomitant with the well-known hydrophobic partition mechanism in a polymeric column has been observed and investigated. This exchange process is attributed to ionization of some acidic sites present in the polymer column at basic mobile phase pH values. Several drugs of different basicity have been chromatographed on a polymeric PLRP-S column with methanol-water and acetonitrile-water mobile phases. The cation exchange between the protonated basic drug and the buffer cations (Na+, K+ and BuNH4+) is observed at the pH range where the protonated drug and the ionized sites of the column coexist. Phase diagrams were calculated for flowing solutions of polystyrene in trans-decahydronaphthalene assuming that the energy (Es) stored in the sheared state has to be added to the Gibbs energy of mixing; Es is computed from viscometric data (flow curves). The resulting phase diagrams exhibit two maxima in most of the cases instead of only one for the stagnant solutions. A comparison with experimental data (Part 1) shows that the calculated demixing behaviour agrees well for moderate shear rates and concentrations of the polymer.
