The article explores Roberta Torre’s film Sud Side Stori (2000), an extravagant Italian re-vision of Romeo and Juliet set in the Sicilian city of Palermo which displays awareness of the global circulation of the story of the two ‘‘star-crossed lovers’’. In the film, which combines neo-realist cinematographic techniques with the artificial style of the musical, Shakespeare’s young lovers become Toni Giulietto, a lousy local rock singer, and Romea Wacoubo, a beautiful Nigerian prostitute who falls in love with him when she sees him standing on his balcony. The effect of contextual variables on the attacking style of play in professional soccer

The aim of this paper was to investigate the interactive effects of contextual variables on the attacking style of play in professional soccer. 5849 team possessions from 40 random matches from Spanish La Liga and English Premier League 2017-2018 were analysed by means of multidimensional observation. Multilevel multivariate logistic regressions showed that home teams had higher odds of implementing fast attacks (p<.05) and lower odds of implementing direct attacks (p<.05) than combinative attacks. Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) is a symptom of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) that resolves under treatment with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). In some patients, sleepiness persists despite CPAP treatment. We retrospectively analyzed data on subjective residual EDS, assessed as an Epworth Sleepiness Scale score (ESS) >10, in patients from the European Sleep Apnea Database (n = 4,853, mean age +/- SD 54.8 +/- 11.8 years, 26.1% females), at baseline and at the first visit (median follow-up: 5 months, interquartile range 3-13). Cette opération a permis de comprendre l’organisation et l’évolution d’un quartier urbain de l’agglomération d’Intaranum sur les cinq premiers siècles de notre ère.Située immédiatement à l’est d’une voie reliant Entrains à Auxerre, la parcelle fouillée semble n’être investie que vers le début du Ier s. Les premiers indices d’occupation livrent l’image d’un paysage rural, peu anthropisé, centré chronologiquement sur la période augustéenne. The “Camporeale Ridge” (NW Sicily): structural significance within deep-seated tectonics. The “Camporeale Ridge” is a morphostructural element cropping out in NW Sicily. Detailed structural and stratigraphic analysis carried out in the study area allows us to reconstruct a main E-W-trending anticline partially exposed along the ridge. Its development is due to the action of high-angle transpressive faults which bound both northwards and southwards site of the ridge.
