Goals To explore affective and cognitive status, later in life, in individuals with and without previous history of eating disorder (ED), and also its association with higher risk for metabolic syndrome (MetS) symptomatology. Methods A cross-sectional analysis of 6756 adults, aged 55-75 years with overweight/obesity and MetS participating in the Predimed-Plus study was conducted. Participants completed self-reported questionnaires to examine lifetime history of ED, according to DSM-5 criteria, and other psychopathological and neurocognitive factors. Background and Aims: The Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire is the most commonly used outcome measure in the assessment of carpal tunnel syndrome. The purpose of this study was to translate the original Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire into Finnish and validate its psychometric properties. Materials and Methods: We translated and culturally adapted the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire into Finnish. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt, vai pašnovērtētiem panikas simptomiem ir saistības ar bērnības vardarbības pieredzi un vai panikas simptomu izteiktību izskaidro uztvertā ģimenes psiholoģiskā vide. Pētījuma izlasi veidoja 81 pusaudzis, vecumā no 12 līdz 16 gadiem (M=14,9, SD=1,38), 60 meitenes un 21 zēns, kuri internetā anonīmi aizpildīja izveidoto aptauju. Pētījumā tika izmantota Ģimenes klimata skala (Family Environment Scale, FES), Bērnības vardarbības pieredzes aptauja (Childhood Abuse History Questionnaire (CAHQ) un Panikas traucējuma smaguma skala (Panic Disorder Severity Scale). The purpose of this study was to examine differences in mental health between university students in nine countries during the pandemic. The study encompassed 2349 university students (69% female) from Colombia, the Czech Republic (Czechia), Germany, Israel, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
