Mūsdienās tiek ģenerēts un glabāts ārkārtīgi liels daudzums datu – sensoru dati, transakcijas, sociālo tīklu dati, audio, video ieraksti u.c. Šajos datos slēpjas noderīga informācija, ko var iegūt ar lielo datu analītikas palīdzību. Viens no svarīgākajiem rīkiem lielo datu analītikā ir datu vizualizēšana, kas ļauj efektīvāk aptvert lielu datu apjomu vizuāli un palīdz atklāt datos dažādas jaunas likumsakarības. International audience; The diamond cone is a combinatorial description for a basis of a natural indecomposable n-module, where n is the nilpotent factor of a complex semisimple Lie algebra g. After N. J. Wildberger who introduced this notion, this description was achieved for g = sl(n) , the rank 2 semisimple Lie algebras and g = sp (2n).In this work, we generalize these constructions to the Lie algebra g = so(2n + 1). The orthogonal semistandard Young tableaux were defined by M. Kashiwara and T. Nakashima, they index a basis for the shape algebra of so(2n + 1). Using a DEA framework (Data Envelopment Analysis), we develop new performance indicators for integrated retail networks. A methodological discussion leads us to propose a productivity indicator which respects the criteria of controllability and transversal coherence. We then formalise the relationship between a performance indicator of a network's headquarters and the productivity of its various retailers. Finally, we combine these new indicators in crafting a management tool amenable to a system of balanced scorecards.
Reliable Outer Bounds for the Dual Simplex Algorithm with Interval Right-hand Side

International audience; In this article, we describe the reliable computation of outer bounds for linear programming problems occuring in linear relaxations derived from the Bernstein polynomials. The computation uses interval arithmetic for the Gauss-Jordan pivot steps on a simplex tableau. The resulting errors are stored as interval right hand sides. Additionally, we show how to generate a start basis for the linear programs of this type. We give details of the implementation using OpenMP and comment on numerical experiments.

In several short stories, Sean O'Faolain ponders over the complexity of love relationships and tries to unveil some of the unconscious motivations underlying them. This essay focuses on three of these short stories, namely "There's a Birdie in the Cage", "Discord" and "An Inside Outside Complex", and shows how, in each of them, the fissures or cracks in love relationships are figuratively represented by an isotopy of windows, the various qualities of which are artfully exploited by O'Faolain (the window as partition between contiguous spaces, as transparent filter, as surface or frame).
