Miten henkilökohtaiset työtavoitteet ovat yhteydessä työn intohimoon

Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastelimme toimihenkilöiden henkilökohtaisia työtavoitteita sekä niiden yhteyttä harmoniseen ja pakonomaiseen työn intohimoon. Tutkimme suomalaisia toimihenkilöitä (n = 266, keski-ikä 39, kh = 3,3, vaihteluväli 31 – 44), jotka osallistuivat poikkileikkaustutkimukseen vuonna 2014. Tutkittavista 80,5 % oli miehiä ja esimiesasemassa työskenteli 70,7 %. Henkilökohtaisia työtavoitteita kartoitettiin avoimella kysymyksellä, ja työn intohimoa 12-osioisella kyselyllä. Henkilökohtaiset työtavoitteet luokiteltiin seitsemään luokkaan: pätevyys (24,4 %), hyvinvointi (20,9 %), organisaatio (15,8 %), työn vaihto (13,3, %), raha (10,0 %), urakehitys (9,6 %) ja työn varmuus (6,0 %). …

Tässä tutkielmassa analysoidaan kasvuyritysten sekä tieto- ja viestintäteknologian (ICT) kontribuutioita työpaikkojen luomiseen ja työn tuottavuuteen. Suomen talouden kehitys on ollut heikkoa viimeisen vuosikymmenen ajan globaalista finanssikriisistä johtuen. Työttömyys on noussut korkealle tasolle ja työn tuottavuuden kasvu hidastunut, ja lopulta pysähtynyt. Lisäksi on keskusteltu siitä, syntyykö Suomeen uusia työpaikkoja. Tässä tutkielmassa pyritään tarjoamaan empiiriseen tutkimukseen perustuvaa tietoa Suomen talouskasvun lähteistä. Tutkimuksessa analysoidaan makro sekä mikro tasolla Kestin (2013) kehittelemää henki-löstövoimavarojen tuotantofunktiota. Background: Behavioral scientists suggest that for behavior change interventions to work effectively, and deliver population-level health outcomes, they must be underpinned by behavioral theory. However, despite implementation of such interventions, population levels of both health outcomes and linked behaviors have remained relatively static. We debate the extent to which interventions based on behavioral theory work in the real world to address population health outcomes. This thesis asks the question “What is the role of journalism in social innovation?” It explores how journalism is redefined when it engages in the creation of “the new” in society.
