The aim of the study was to examine the factors related to teachers’ stress and well-being at work, and how teachers’ occupational well-being is associated with the pedagogical quality of their work in the classroom. Moreover, we investigated the factors related to teachers’ work engagement and recovery from work. OBJECTIVE: This study investigates the association between depressive symptoms and multisite pain and health-related quality of life and work ability in currently employed health care workers with recurrent low back pain (LBP). METHODS: Multisite pain, depressive symptoms, quality of life, and work ability were assessed by validated questionnaires. A generalized linear model was used for statistical analysis. RESULTS: Notably, 28% of female health care workers with LBP had at least moderate levels of depressive symptoms. Ethical dilemmas and well-being in teachers’ work : A three-wave, two-year longitudinal study

The aim of the present longitudinal study was two-fold: First, to explore what kinds of ethical dilemma groups can be identified among Finnish teachers (n = 310) and second, to examine how these groups differ from each other with respect to occupational well-being and recovery from job strain over the two-year follow-up. Using Latent Profile Analysis, three ethical dilemma prevalence groups were identified: rare (27%), occasional (51%), and frequent dilemmas (22%). Käsittelen tutkimuksessani itse kehittämäni lavastettavan valokuvan mahdollisuuksia taidekasvatusmenetelmänä. Menetelmälleni ominaista on, että se hyödyntää siirto-objektia, eli trasitionaaliobjektia kuvan päähenkilönä, jonka kautta teemaan perehdytään. Menetelmälleni on erityistä se, että ryhmääni osallistuva kuvaaja pysyy koko ajan kameran takana ja saa päättää itse kuvaan kuuluvista symbolisista elementeistä. Kuvasta valoon -projektin aikana olen taiteilijana itse määrittänyt transitionaaliobjektiksi mallinuken jalat, jotka aseteltiin jokaiseen paikkakuvaan.
