Współczesny polski teatr opiera się na zmianie kierunku relacji: od komunikacji z tradycją ku komunikacji z odbiorcą. Katarzyna Fazan widzi jej początki w inscenizacji Iwony, księżniczki Burgunda Grzegorza Jarzyny z 1997 r. Dalsze działania są konsekwencją m.in. wprowadzenia kategorii kuriozum. Rozpatrywane jest ono na dwóch polach: w obrębie sceny i poza nią. Dla Mai Kleczewskiej kurioza są krzywym zwierciadłem dla zbiorowości i widzów, ustanawiającym granicę między „swoim” a „obcym”. Radosław Rychcik rozumie kuriozum dosłownie, nawiązując do postaci z amerykańskiego kina. Hong Kong based Chinese artist Zheng Bo is committed to socially and ecologically engaged art. He investigates the past and imagines the future from the perspectives of marginalized communities and marginalized plants. He has worked with a number of museums and art spaces in Asia and Europe, most recently TheCube Project Space (Taipei), the Power Station of Art (Shanghai), the Sifang Art Museum (Nanjing), the Times Museum (Guangzhou), the Cass Sculpture Foundation (Chichester, UK), and Villa Vassilieff (Paris).

Szeroka definicja malarstwa religijnego pozwala na odnalezienie wielu punktów stycznych między szkolną katechezą i wychowaniem plastycznym. Zasadniczy problem tekstu można wyrazić w pytaniu: Jakie obrazy są wykorzystywane we współczesnych materiałach do szkolnego nauczania religii na poziomie gimnazjalnym? Malarstwo religijne obecne jest w wielu szkolnych podręcznikach. In my article I study two Anglophone feature films, Jeppe Rønde's Bridgend (2015) and Susan Bier's Bird Box (2018), from the viewpoints offered by visual cultural studies and the theoretical domains of taboo and biopower. Both systems of control respond to risks and dangers to society, taboo through ideas of contagion and biopower through normative, especially medical discourses by authorized instances of knowledge production. They are reflected also in the audio-visual popular culture seeking to make sense of suicide through entertaining and artistic means. Hypothesis for the Italian contemporary landscape renewal

Over the last century the Italian urban and suburban landscape has undergone a profound transformation. Through this brief essay we try to trace the reasons of this transformation in order to suggest possible redevelopment strategies. It is necessary, in essence, to rediscover today the lost balance between city and countryside typical of the traditional landscape. But to do this it is necessary to recognize the “essential character” of the territories.

The volume, set up in honor of Domenica Perrone, collects contributions of different slant (essays, didactic interventions, testimonials) on a shared work theme: the representation of the house in modern and contemporary literature. The house therefore acquires the value of a privileged space of figurative precipitation, in which the founding nuclei of the literary work are deposited; deciphering the many meanings that lie behind its walls allows access to the author's inventive workshop and to observe the secret life of the characters.
