The use in psychology of crowdsourcing platforms as a method of data collection has been increasing in popularity because of its relative ease and versatility. Our goal is to adapt the Gratitude Questionnaire–20 Items (G20) to the English language by using data collected through a crowdsourcing platform. This study assessed the feasibility and reproducibility of a previously validated temperament test (TT) for shelter dogs. The test was developed to measure dog behaviour in the kennel, and traits of sociability towards people and other dogs, docility to leash, playfulness, cognitive skills, and reactivity. Creating Implicit Measure Stimulus Sets Using a Multi-Step Piloting Method

The effect of arbitrary stimulus selection is a persistent concern when employing implicit measures. The current study tests a data-driven multi-step procedure to create stimulus items using a combination of free-recall and survey data. Six sets of stimulus items were created, representing healthy food and high sugar items in children, adolescents, and adults. Selected items were highly representative of the target concepts, in frequent use, and of near equal length. Bakalaura darbā “Risku vadība publiskajā pārvaldē” pētīts risku vadības process valsts pārvaldes iestādēs Latvijā. Pētījumā veikta risku vadības dokumentu analīze, kā arī veiktas daļēji strukturētās intervijas ar Latvijas valsts pārvaldes iestāžu darbiniekiem, kas ikdienā auditē risku vadību. Pētījumā veikts riska inteliģences tests, kurš izveidots balstoties uz pētnieka Dilana Evansa teoriju. Pētījums sniedz padziļinātu ieskatu par risku vadību valsts pārvaldē, atklājot būtiskas nepilnības, kas ietekmē iestāžu risku vadības veiktspēju. Pētījums primāri saistošs tiem, kas strādā ar risku vadību gan publiskajā, gan privātajā sektorā, kā arī pētniekiem, kuri pēta risku vadību.

The aim of the research was to develop a motor skills assessment tool for 4-6- year-old children that would include test items for body awareness and basic motor skills, therefore demonstrating the children’s motor performance and related problems and supporting the planning of training programs. Prior theories have emphasized the role of predator behavior and learning as well as evolution in model-mimic complexes but have not examined the role of population dynamics in potentially governing the relative abundances and even persistence of model-mimic systems. This qualitative study investigated the various linguistic, contextual, and experiential equivalence issues embedded in a performance-based instrument aimed at assessing generic skills in higher education. A rigorous translation and adaptation process (American English to Finnish) was conducted on one instrument, namely Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA+) International. The data were obtained from cognitive laboratories (n = 13), with think-alouds and follow-up interviews conducted among Finnish undergraduate students.
