Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Statistikas jēdzienu apguves novērtēšana Latvijas Universitātē”, kas veltīta mērisntrumenta (testa) izstrādei un adaptācijai latviešu valodā, lai sekmīgi novērtētu studentu statistikas jēdzienu apguvi. Testa izstrāde un tulkošana ir balstīta uz Oklahamas Universitātē jau izstrādāto un vairāku gadu veikto (2002-2005) statistikas koncepta izvērtēšanu, un tā izstrādāto testu. Galvenais darba mērķis ir izpētīt pieejamo informāciju par Oracle PL/SQL vienībtestēšanas rīkiem, tehniskajiem ierobežojumiem, kā arī izstrādāt ieteikumus par to, kā izvēlēties pareizāko vienībtestēšanas rīku atkarībā no situācijas un kāpēc darīt tieši tā. Lai izstrādātu minētos ieteikumus, nepieciešams analizēt pieejamo informāciju un salīdzināt rīku iespējas. Darbā ir detalizēti apskatīti un savā starpā salīdzināti 4 visbiežāk pielietotie Oracle PL/SQL vienībtestēšanas rīki. Darba rezultāts ir izveidoti ieteikumi Oracle PL/SQL vienībtestēšanas rīka vai ietvara izvēlē, ieviešanā un lietošanā atkarībā no dažādiem faktoriem.

Sustained attention encompasses a cascade of fundamental functions. The human ability to implement a sustained attention task is supported by brain networks that dynamically formed and dissolved through oscillatory synchronization. The decrement of vigilance induced by prolonged task engagement affects sustained attention. However, little is known about which stage or combinations are affected by vigilance decrement. Preventing reverse engineering of native and managed programs

One of the important aspects of protecting software from attack, theft of algorithms, or illegal software use is eliminating the possibility of performing reverse engineering. One common method used to deal with these issues is code obfuscation. However, it is proven to be ineffective. Code encryption is a much more effective means of defying reverse engineering, but it requires managing a cryptographic key available to none but the permissible users. El IVyF (Strength of Character Inventory, en inglés) es un instrumento de medición de las 24 fortalezas del carácter de la clasificación de Peterson y Seligman (2004). A diferencia de otros cuestionarios homólogos para medir las fortalezas de esa clasificación que están compuestos por decenas de ítems, el IVyF es un instrumento de medición de 24 ítems. Este estudio se enfocó en la validez del IVyF. The quarantine bacterium Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis (Cmm) is the agent of tomato bacterial canker (TBC), one of the most destructive bacterial diseases of this crop, that causes severe economic losses worldwide. During a recent outbreak of TBC in Sicily (insular Italy), it was impossible to amplify the pat-1 gene by PCR with CMM5/CMM6 primers from affected greenhouse-grown plants from three farms, although Cmm-like colonies were consistently isolated.
