Experimental Validation of Maximum Constant Boost Control and Switching Frequency Optimal for three-phase Quasi-Z-Source Converters

This paper presents a modified modulation scheme for quasi-Z-Source converters, based on the Maximum Constant Boost Control (MCBC) concept and Switching Frequency Optimal (SFO) as reference signal. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is validated by comparing the obtained results (in terms of AC harmonic content and voltage stress) with those carried out from traditional modulation schemes. For this reason, a test bench has been assembled and the benefits of the SFO MCBC modulation scheme have been valuated.

Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a cornerstone of the next-generation digital sky and is now mandated in several countries. However, there have been many reports of serious security vulnerabilities in the ADS-B architecture. In this paper, we demonstrate and evaluate the impact of multiple cyberattacks on ADS-B via remote radio frequency links that affected various network, processing, and display subsystems used within the ADS-B ecosystem. Overall we implemented and tested 12 cyberattacks on ADS-B in a controlled environment, out of which 5 attacks were presented or implemented for the first time. The impact of consumer local engagement on local store patronage and customer satisfaction

This paper examines the drivers of local grocery retail patronage. Drawing on institutional and social network theory literature, we develop a framework to investigate how consumers’ personal values and engagement with local communities affect their satisfaction and local store patronage. We test our model with survey data on 1504 Finnish consumers. Our results show that the relationship between customer local engagement and local retail patronage is indirect rather than direct, and it is mediated by the vitality of local services, social interaction, and consumer satisfaction.

Diplomdarbā aprakstītā pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt kādas ir atšķirības starp tradicionālajiem un tiešsaistes testiem, kāda ir skolēnu attieksme pret tiem, kuram testa veidam skolēni dot priekšroku un kāpēc. Pētījumam izmantotais datu ieguves instruments ir aptaujas anketa, kas tika izveidota un izsūtīta skolēniem, izmantojot elektronisko pastu. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka pašlaik tiešsaistes testi tiek izmantoti biežāk kā tradicionālie testi. Skolēniem vairāk patīk tiešsaistes testi to viegluma un ērtuma dēļ. Pēdējos gados strauji pieaug vides piesārņojums ar farmaceitiskiem savienojumiem. Tas ļoti piesaista pētnieku uzmanību, jo šie potenciāli bioaktīvie savienojumi var būtiski ietekmēt ūdens kvalitāti un ūdens ekosistēmas, kā arī cilvēka veselību. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt ibuprofēnu, paracetamolu (acetaminofēnu), diklofenaku, amoksicilīnu, ipidakrīna hidrohlorīdu, hlorpiramīna hidrohlorīdu un sulpirīdu saturošu preparātu toksiskumu, izmantojot divas biotestēšanas metodes: Daphnia magna akūtā toksiskuma testu un aļģu augšanas inhibēšanas testu. Pēdējos gados strauji pieaug vides piesārņojums ar farmaceitiskiem savienojumiem. Tie ir potenciāli bioaktīvi un var būtiski ietekmēt ūdens kvalitāti un ūdens organismus, tomēr par daudziem framaceitiskiem savienojumiem eko-toksikoloģiskā informācija ir nepilna vai pilnībā iztrūkst. Pētījums tika veikts ar mērķi noteikt plaši pielietojamu un ekotoksikoloģijā maz pētītu farmaceitisko produktu potenciālo ietekmi uz ūdens organismiem. Darba gaitā ir noskaidrotas preparātu LC50, EC50, LOEC un NOEC vērtības.
