Media diversification and information superhighways that have become faster and faster have boosted the circulation of economic terms in the popular press, along with the interaction between editorial contents targeted at the general population, which are similar in nature. This twin phenomenon of circulation and interaction was highlighted in a contrastive study of the way the German and the French press managed the euro crisis between 2011 and 2013: articles devoted to the debt of countries that are going through hard economic times require expert knowledge, but also resort to popularization strategies that show multi-level interdiscursivity.

The concept of paratext appears to be useful to try to describe the structure of a complex Web page. This article will firstly tackle the meaning attributed to this concept by Gérard Genette. Secondly, by trying to spot and to name whatever is likely to appear simultaneously on the screen upon the display of a written document extracted from the Web, it will Webwise redefine the two components of the paratext, namely the epitext and the peritext. Their functions, their feasible meanings and their effects will then be analysed.

Les hébergements touristiques ont connu une profonde mutation avec notamment une orientation par la production de contextes expérientiels qui soit constituent l’offre proprement dite, soit servent à mieux positionner cette offre vis-à-vis de la concurrence. L’objet de cette recherche est donc de mesurer l’influence des services (fonctionnels versus expérientiels) offerts par un hôtel haut de gamme thématisé et situé dans un parc d’attractions sur la satisfaction de la clientèle. The articles in this dossier aim to simultaneously interrogate the practices and beliefs of teachers in 10 school systems and contrasting sociocultural contexts. While the dossier initially highlights the variation in the meanings of these two terms, it primarily interrogates change in education and the dilemmas that this raises – between acceptance of institutional instructions and professional expertise resulting from practice.
