Radiotherapy procedures aim at exposing cancer cells to ionizing radiation. Permanently implanting radioactive sources near to the cancer cells is a typical technique to cure early-stage prostate cancer. It involves image acquisition of the patient, delineating the target volumes and organs at risk on different medical images, treatment planning, image-guided radioactive seed delivery, and post-implant evaluation. Artificial intelligence-based medical image analysis can benefit radiotherapy procedures. Asylum art during the nineteenth century : an archeology of Art Brut.This work is about artifacts made by patients in asylums during the XIXth and the beginning of the XXth century: from their entrance into scientific collections and publications, until the first exhibitions into art galleries during the 1920's. We will try to show how, thanks to the role of some personalities of medical, litterary and artistic areas, the medical status of those creations will be overtaken and they will begin to invest artistic scene.

The subject of this thesis concerns the development of new ligands, their coordination chemistry, and the synthesis of the corresponding metal complexes for catalysis and therapy.The first part of this work relates to the synthesis of diene-phosphine ligands, their saturated analogs, and the corresponding arene-ruthenium complexes. Arene decoordination allows the formation of a cationic bimetallic complex where the ligand is diène-η4/κ-P coordinated to the ruthenium. These complexes have been applied to atom transfer radical addition (ATRA) of CCl4 to styrene. Abstract Objective To determine whether the addition of spa therapy to home exercises provides any benefit over exercises and the usual treatment alone in the management of generalised osteoarthritis associated with knee osteoarthritis. Methods This study was a post-hoc subgroup analysis of our randomised multicentre trial ( www.clinicaltrial.gov : NCT00348777 ). Prostate cancer is the most frequent tumour affecting the male population. When the prostate is not removed and is treated with radiation therapy, PSA slowly decreases over time to reach its nadir, even sometimes 18 to 24 months after the completion of radiation therapy without combined androgen suppression therapy. Recurrent hypoglycemia (RH) impairs the counter-regulatory response (CRR) which restores euglycemia. During hypoglycemia, ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH) production of nitric oxide (NO) and activation of its receptor soluble guanylyl cyclase (sGC) are critical for the CRR.
